Flashback Friday: Marsala Wine.

Happy Friday You All. I got another Flashback Friday today and I am focusing on one of Pantone's biggest Colors of Fall+Winter 2015: Marsala. To tell you the truth, it is one of my most Favorite Colors especially for the Fall and Winter seasons. I cannot stop wearing it lately either as shown herehere or here. You can also call it wine, bourdeaux, merlot, oxblood, plum, maroon, shiraz, dark red or berry. I prefer to call it burgundy, it's the color I have always known this deep shade of red which is perfect for Fall and Winter. Let's take a look below at some Outfits featuring Marsala Wine or Burgundy. Of course, looking back at these pictures, I will talk a little bit about each outfit.

Original Post.
I love these pants. They are in that deep shade of burgundy (oxblood). Cords are a perfect way to add a little bit of burgundy to your wardrobe this Fall. They pair nicely with a true red and baby pink, like I have paired them here. I would wear this outfit in a heartbeat. For a date night I would switch the Moccasins for my Suede Red Pumps instead.

This outfit mixes prints: the burgundy+hot pink leggings with the burgundy+pink+black plaid scarf. The Baby Pink Trench, the Black Booties and the Black Jacket tied in all the colors of this outfit.

This is an outfit I wore to the first pumpkin patch I took Vivian, when she was just a baby, 2 years ago. My Burgundy Corduroy Blazer was this pretty deep shade of Cranberry Red. As you see I mixed it with Navy Blue and Metallics. I am not sure this outfit quite works but I did feel cute, trendy and warm the day I wore it.

This is a very warm, bundled up outfit featuring Burgundy/Dark Red Skinny Jeans which I tucked into some Rain Boots and paired with a Warm Black Fair Isle Cardigan and Black Wool Infinity Scarf. Once again, I added a dose of red to this outfit (the shirt underneath the sweater). In retrospect it is an OK Outfit but I don't think I would repeat it.

Now this one is for a date night. You see just a pop of Burgundy here and it comes via that Gorgeous Faux Fur Scarf which goes so well with this Fuchsia Plaid Button-Down Shirt. I wore the Shirt with some Zippered Ankle Dark Skinny Jeans and some (Faux) Croc-Embossed Peep-Toe Pumps. I did add a little Moto Jacket and carried a Clutch when I went out. I felt so edgy, chic, sexy and put-together in this outfit.

Here are my Burgundy Cords again tucked into my Cognac Riding Boots. I didn't show a whole outfit picture here because it is hard to see the true color of these pants from the other photos. If you click at the original outfit you will see that I wore a White Pinstriped Popover with a White Denim Moto Jacket. For a casual Friday it was an outfit I wore to work and beyond. It is an outfit I would wear again and even try different colors of Button-Down Shirts with it, including a Chambray.

This is my Thanksgiving Outfit from last year. Here is that Fuchsia Plaid Button-Down Shirt again but to keep warm I am wearing a Light Cotton Black Turtleneck underneath it. A big dose of Burgundy comes from that gorgeous Satin Pencil Skirt. I like how this outfit is monochromatic yet it shoes 4 different colors. I think I would wear it again (with or without the turtleneck) but I would wear Black Opaque Tights with it or if it was warmer go without tights and wear Black Flats or Black Loafers, instead.

Original Post.
I mentioned earlier I love pairing Burgundy with Red and I did it again with this Red-Striped Dress and my Burgundy Accessories: the Silk Scarf and my Oxford Shooties. I wore this Outfit for Fall in one of my English classes I was teaching at the time. My second and third-graders loved this look. I would wear this Outfit again, even try it with other tights. I do like the little Pattern-Mixing here between the Striped Dress and the Argyle Tights.

Original Post.
Now, this Work Outfit is mostly in Red, Black and White but you do see some deep Burgundy shades through the roses of this Gorgeous Floral Cardigan. This is Simple but Chic Office Look. I would wear it again but I think it would wear Pumps or some type of a heel rather than these Oxford Flats.

Original Post.
OTK Taupe Jeans, Acid-Wash Blue Jeans, Black Tee, Burgundy Cardigan, White Down Vest and a Neon-Striped Scarf - it sounds like too much all at once, but you know it worked. A Casual Outfit that is simple enough yet quite interesting. I felt put-together for a chilly day full of errands and yes I would repeat this outfit with different jeans (since I do not own this pair anymore). I think black skinny jeans and white skinny jeans would work just as well as blue denim.
Which 2-3 Outfits are your favorite? Are you wearing Marsala this season?

I will show you guys a new outfit on Sunday and be back with some Nice Outfits next week. Enjoy your Friday and have a Fabulous Weekend!
