Casual Date Night Wearing Pants.

I wore the above outfit on a Saturday Date Night with my husband. We went to a beautiful restaurant where we sat on the patio and overlooked a pretty water-fountain and a gorgeous garden of fresh flowers. We went there kind of late in the evening and it was breezy. The water outside brought even more of a wind. But the best part was the Live Music. We were lucky enough to be serenaded by the oldest, most popular and most successful violonist in Albania. This little old man is amazing, over 80 years old looking and feeling great - God Bless Him! I love the violin (and the piano). After all I played the violin for about 8 years since I was 5 years old. It brought back great memories, as well. =)

We weren't very hungry so we started off with Mussels in a White Wine & Lemon Sauce and an amazing Fish Soup. We then proceeded with Fresh, Traditional, Albanian Salad. And last but not least we finished off with a gigantic ice-cream for two. Wish I would have taken photos of the place (outdoors) and the food. They were both amazing. But we promised we would go back and we will take more pictures next time around. Below is a bunch of photos of my outfit from the day (taken at home, before we left) and of the two of us. =)

The two of us up-close, photos taken by my husband's hand. Our T-shirts sort of matched in colors. A lot of times we match on purpose (on special ocassions, in particular) but a lot of other times we just happen to match, all by coincidence. This was one of those times. =) I particularly love the above photo. I was actually having a bad hair day (I washed it that evening), but on that above photo it looks great and wind-blown.

A Sleeveless Button-Down and a Printed Pencil Skirt.

Here is another pencil skirt in another Graphic Black+White print. I love Graphic Black & White and own at least 3 skirts in such a print, as well as a dress and a few tops. I think this skirt would have looked good had I not tucked in the top, as well. But this time around I wore it tucked. And it's another - shocker!! - Teal/Green shade I am wearing on top. I never realized I owned so much teal and this is the summer I have worn this color the most, I must say. Next time I am in the USA I will make sure to pick up some nice button-down/poplin shirts from Express, like this one. I especially love their sleeveless ones. Great for summer and very chic for work, while keeping you cool and fresh. =)

Sexy Orange and Yolo Mondays.

Hello All and Welcome Monday! This is the last Monday of this month and also the start to a new week and a new month - August. I am hoping and praying August is truly the last month of hot, blazing temperatures and that we won't have a lingering, Indian summer. I don't mind having a bit of summer through September and early-mid October as long as the temperayures are bearable.

I promised I would have a second outfit posted last night but I was still having lousy headaches and couldn't stare any minute longer on a computer screen. Usually my headaches are accompanied by me not being able to stand heavy or bright light, or too much (loud) noise. Computers in general are an enemy for the eyes and make your eyes even more tired when you have a headache. Great to report I am headache-free today and staying cool inside my office even-though it's 97 degrees out. Yep, that hot! LOL

Today's outfit features a staple: a black pencil skirt, worn with a cute, sexy tee and a statement necklace with matching earrings. The top is kind of sexy but yet appropriate for work. I also had to give a real quick TV interview that day for work and for those people who saw me on TV (I have rarely seen myself, because I either forget or I am usually at work when they show my features), I got compliments on this look. I must say, I should wear orange more often. I need to own more of it, actually. This top is bright but not in a saturated way.

Orange, Ivory, Light Green and Clear Plastic Bobble Necklace in Floating Chain: JC Penney.

Gold & Turquoise, Antique-Looking, Cocktail Ring: Parfois.

Feminine Pleats and Ribbons.

Around 3.15 AM this morning I suddenly woke up with a really heavy head. Once I stood up, I realized I was having vertigo. My husband was still awake God Bless Him, so I made him give me a masage on my forehead and neck. He is good at masages - I shall say. It made it a little bit better but it was still a pain. My bed and my pillow became my enemy. I was tossing and turning due to this awful vertigo. Some minutes later I told my husband to get me a cold-watered towel. I put that on my forehad and tried to sleep. I only fell asleep over an hour later. Unfortunately, I had to wake up super early to go to work. That 30-minute walk to the bus station was a challenge. My head was still super-tired from the previous night. Too bad, since Saturday was such a nice, relaxing day off.

Anyhow. In my last outfit I was wearing a braid. When you keep your hair braided all day and un-braid it the next morning you get slightly curly hair, a little frizzy but still cute. And here is another dress in a dark teal. It looks like I have worn many versions of teal and green, a lot, this summer. I like the grosgrain ribbon that runs through the chest part of this dress. It's a unique empire-waist.

Wishing you all a Lovely Sunday Ahead. I will be back later tonight with a second outfit for today, since I am at least two weeks behind with outfit posting. =) See you soon!!

Black and White Casually Yet Work-Ready.

Hello all. I am watching a funny, a little bit dirty Albanian TV Show while facebooking and now trying to blog. I hope I don't mess this up. J/K. I am known to multi-task. So before we sit down to eat lunch, I am posting a quick OOTD.

This time my ensemble is in the classiest, most basic color combinations of them all: Black & White. This is actually quite a simple outfit: a classic, black pencil skirt and a white sequined tank-top. The little bow belt is actually part of the skirt. Ohhh and my hair is braided. If I could braid, I would braid my hair at least 2-3 times a week. It's an easy, relaxed style and your hair is pulled back. It's great for very hot, sunny summer days like the ones we are currently having.

White, Cotton Tank-Top All Sequined in the Front: Express.
Black, Button-Front, Stretchy Skirt w/Bow-Tie Belt (Worn Over the Tank): Forever 21.
Black, Circle, Glass Jet Crystal Earrings: White House Black Market.

Black & Silver, Gladiator, Strappy Sandals: Il Cammini.
