I am a Girly Girl at heart so Dresses and Skirts have my love. But as a busy SAHM of a very active toddler who never stays still for a second, Shorts are great for warm weather. You don't have to worry at all when bending down, picking stuff up or chasing a 16-month old. I am showing you my Favorite Denim Shorts, while Amy showed you guys the Gorgeous B+W Striped Shorts by Express (which I wanted too). We both dressed up our Outfits on top and we both wore Black Bow Flats. Great minds think alike!! We have definitely thought similarly throughout this collaboration/challenge. =)
For the Shorts, I decided to wear my favorite Denim pair (never seen on the blog before). They are from 1969's line of Gap. I love the Light-to-Medium Wash and the slight fraying on the hem. Even better, they have cute zipper details off each side of the leg. I paired them with a Beautiful New Blouse that I purchased around Christmas last year but had yet to wear (shame on me). I love the high-collar of this Blouse. The sleeves and back are chiffon while the front is a light knit/sweater material, all shimmery as it has little sequins all over (I promised you Guys Sequins+Bows on Yesterday's Post). I also love the Gold Studs and Pyramid Buttons of the Blouse. As far as the Bows, they are on my Adorable, Polka-dotted Peep-toe Flats. This Outfit is subtle and neutral but my Bright Red Lips and Jewel-colored Drop Earrings add little pops of Color. I wore my Shorts last Saturday. It was a little cool out but usually my legs don't get too cold. There are a bunch of close-up photos too since I am showing you my new Low-lights (which actually debuted yesterday also).
Nude/Soft Beige Long-Sleeve, Chiffon+Knit Blouse w/ Sequins & Gold Studs: Koton (New) (similar, best deal), (Portofino version by Express, love this), (similar, utility shirt).
Medium-Wash, Blue Jean Shorts w/ side zipper detail: Gap (very similar, this year's 1969 version by Gap, love these), (similar destructed pair by Gap, best deal), (similar BF style by Gap). Gap makes some Great Shorts especially Denim ones so these are all worth taking a look, at.
Emerald Green/Red/Silver/Yellow, Flower Drop Earrings: Street Vendor (very similar + gorgeous), (similar, on huge sale, love these), (similar, mint + yellow).
Lips: Revlon's Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick in Red (identical), (similar by Revlon), (similar by Avon, best deal). I also own the Avon lipstick I linked to and recommend it.
Canvas, Black & White, Polka Dot, Peep-Toe Ballet Flats w/ Bows: Steve Madden (very similar + gorgeous),(similar, great deal), (similar, love these).
