Dressing Up a Sweater for Work, with a Bow-Tie Blouse.

One of my favorite ways to dress up a sweater for work, during Fall, is to add a blouse underneath. I like adding a collared blouse, a girly-detail blouse or to put on one of my several bow-tie blouses/tops underneath it and pair it with dressier pants, like I did above. The pants can be skinny, cropped (like today's), wide-legged trousers, ankle-length, elegant or even a dark pair of jeans (not distressed), sometimes even a pair of black or dark gray joggers. I showed you the way I dressed up a cropped red sweater last Tuesday on Election Day. For work I would swap those jeans for either black, tan or navy tailored pants. Today and next week I will show you 3 ways I have dressed up a sweater for work, wearing pants. You will notice each of these outfits have a little pink in them and in some of them my hair is long (pre-bob), that is because these looks are from late October (and I was still putting some pink on, to honor the month of Breast Cancer Awareness).
