Guest Post - Megan.

Today's Guest is Megan from "Megan Mae Daily". She is one very Talented Young Lady who besides having a very unique style with a mix of Classic Pieces, Vintage, Rock n' Roll, Fun Hair & Amazing Boot Collection she definitely makes Every Piece she wears Her Own. I could not pull off any of the outfits she does but on her they look fantastic. I have even featured her outfits a few times on my "Week's Best Looks".

Megan is also someone who can craft, sew and draw like nobody's business. She makes some cool, fun & unique Button Flower Pins as well as Fashionable OBI Belts (like a sash). Today, she had no words to share with you, but rather a Little Art Piece. In this case this drawing is worth a 1000 words. Just see for yourself. I was so pleasantly surprised and super happy to receive this. It is by far the sweetest, most unique, most well-thought Guest Post yet. The Most Unique Gift for Little Baby Vivian too, so Thank You on her behalf, as well. I also love how she so perfectly drew both my husband and I, we do look a lot like we are in reality. And crazy enough the day I went to give birth I was wearing a two-piece nightgown (romper and cardigan) in a Teal exactly like Megan drew. And My Husband was wearing a Taupe/Brown V-Neck Sweater. It is like she knew.

Thank You Megan for sharing Your Beautiful Art Piece in my Blog, Today. Thank you for such a Sweet, Kind Gift. It was definitely a Big, Sweet Surprise. And all of you Check Out Megan's Blog!

Black and Brown with a Leopard Splash.

Hi there. I cannot believe that my Baby Girl is already 10 days old. She is a good baby for most of the part. I just wish she slept for longer intervals at a time. I think in all these 10 days, I have slept for 3 hours straight just once. But she is still very young - so it's normal. I love her so very much. She sure has changed my world. And in these 10 days I have been home in the comfort of pajamas, tees and sweats. Saturday is Vivian's doctor appointment (her second one; the first one was last week where the doctor came to visit her home - a service they offer in Albania for little babies), so on Saturday I actually plan on putting an outfit together for myself.

Until then, I still have some Maternity Outfits to show you, as I said, while I take a small break from Guest Posts. Thank You to everyone who has Guest Posted for me so far. I still have a few more scheduled and if any of you want to Guest Post, contact me via My E-Mail at Thanks Again. This outfit today is sort of dressy while still comfortable and I had to wear it to an appointment. The top is not Maternity but it has the shape just like a Maternity Top. And this Leopard Scarf is turning into a favorite of mine. Just simple Brown & Black but it works nevertheless. Throw away the rule of not to pair Brown & Black together. I don't really follow any "fashion rules" actually because I do NOT believe in any of them.

Brown, Comfortable Cotton, Baby-Doll Tunic: Terra Nova.
Maternity, Black Pencil Skirt: Liz Lange Maternity.
Leopard, Knit, Off-White & Brown, Fringe Scarf: Purchased on a Street Vendor in Tirana.
Cognac, Leather & Woven Belt (came with a pair of Pants): Koton.
Braided, Gold &Bronze Bracelets: Parfois (New).
Silver Ring w/ Long Oval-Shaped Orange Stone: Kohl's.
Dark Brown Leather Suede Purse: Old Navy.
Brown Puffy Coat w/ Faux Fur-Trimmed Hood: Weather Tamer.
Dark Brown, Soft Knit, Sweater Tights: Golden Point.
Cognac Brown, Leather, Riding Boots: Payless.

P.S. I am linking today's post with Shanna, Lindsey & & Savannah. HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!

Guest Post - Brittany.

Hi Lovely Ladies. Today I have one of my favorite bloggers gracing us with her presence. Let me introduce Brittany from "Fun with the Fullwoods". Britanny is married to the Love of Her Life and a couple of months ago they became parents for the first time to a Beautiful, Big Baby Boy. The thing I like the most about Brittany is her Baking Recipes. She is seriously the Best Baking Blogger out there. I am not a baker (at all), but everything she describes sounds and looks yummy. Plus a lot of her recipes sound so simple. Brittany's Post-Pregnancy Style is also super cute for a brand-new mom. She always dressed well, after all. So there she is.

Hi, y'all! I feel very lucky to be guest blogging for Ada today while she's having her beautiful baby girl. Absolutely cannot wait to "meet" the little bundle!
My name is Brittany and I blog over at Fun with the Fullwoods.
My husband and I just welcomed our own bundle of joy, Bear Clayton, back in November. We're loving each precious moment with our new son and are slowly adjusting to life as a family of three. I blog about fashion, food, and all the fun our little family has! Come stop by and say hi! :)
Now on to the good stuff....the easiest, yummiest banana bread you'll ever eat. We didn't have any nuts at the time so I left them out, but you can always throw some in if you choose. Chocolate chips would be yummy, too.
The crust is the best part! Drooling just looking at it...
This is our favorite breakfast treat; Zach loves taking a few slices to work. The best part is that the recipe makes two loaves so you can always freeze one and save it for a rainy (hungry!) day.
You'll need:
1 stick butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 bananas, mashed
Cream butter and sugar together then add eggs. Mix dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients alternately with mashed bananas to the creamed mixture. Add vanilla. Bake in 2 loaf pans at 350 F for 30 minutes.
(recipe from Fourth & Elm Church of Christ Family Favorites cookbook)
Thank you all for reading and thank you for having me, Ada!

............................................................................................................Thank you for sharing with all of us, this delicious and yummy Banana Bread Recipe, Brittany. And I absolutely adore that portrait of yours with the Hunter Green Button-Down (that is the Color of the Moment) and gorgeous Gold/Silver Statement Necklace.

Guest Post - Ginny.

Hi. Today I have Ginny from "My New Favorite Outfit" Guest Posting for me. Ginny is a teacher at a middle School as well as a wife and mom to a Toddler. Her style is simple, cute & girly. She stays on top of the trends, yet remains classic. And she has a great eye for finding some bargains and thrifting. During the month of January she challenged herself to a "30 for 30 Style Challenge" where she remixes 30 items of clothing for 30 days. Take it over Ginny.

Hi, all! I'm Ginny over at My New Favorite Outfit.  I'm a middle school English teacher, wife, mother, and lover of fashion! I'm also trying to have fun with fashion without breaking the budget, and  this month I'm taking part in a challenge called a 30x30. Basically you pick 30 pieces of clothing and only wear those pieces throughout the course of the month. It's been a great challenge in restyling what I have in my closet and it's forced me to think outside of the box when it comes to outfits. Here are some of my favorites:

All of these were outfits I hadn't worn together before and worked really well together. I'm now starting the final week of the challenge, come stop by my blog and say "Hi."

Thanks, Ada, for giving me the opportunity to guest post here, and I know you're enjoying snuggling up with you sweet little girl and loving every minute of it!

............................................................................................................Thank you for sharing some of your favorite outfits from this month's challenge, Ginny. My favorite of the ones you chose is the last one with the Polka Dot Sweater and Magenta Pencil Skirt. =)

Week's Best Looks: January 27th 2013.

I have so much fun coming up with this list each week. There are so many beautiful looks each week to choose from, by some very talented, stylish ladies but ultimately I pick what I consider LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. This week you will see some Plaid Shirts, lots of Leopard, a couple of Fur Snoods, two beautiful, girly looks with Pastel Baby Pink Skinnies paired with Nude/Neutral Shoes, more Colored Bottoms, Pointy Flats, some Brown & Cognac Leather Boots, two Stripped Skirts, two staple Black Blazers and even a Couple of Gorgeous Red Leather Handbags. And for the second time this week I also featured one girl twice, I loved both of the looks I chose of hers too much just to pick one. Here are the 13 Awesome Looks I choose this 13th week I have running this feature.

This Week's Lovely Looks:
(From Left to Right, Top to Bottom):
Sam gets honored twice this week because I had a very hard time choosing which look I liked best with the Plaid Button-Down. In the first Look she paired it with a Charming Snake-Print Pencil Skirt, Pointy-Toe Leopard Flats & a Sparkly-Stone, Silver Necklace. She keeps the Animal-Print theme in the second outfit by changing into Cheetah Cropped Pants, Nude Pointy-Toe Pumps & a Fur Snood Scarf to keep her Neck Warm & Stylish.
Kacie throws on her Husband's Baggy Gray V-Neck Sweatshirt but makes it Feminine with a Dainty Long Necklace, Sweet Waves in Her Hair, Skinny Jeans & Fun Navy Pumps. Love her Beanie.
Juneli wears a Pretty & Bold Cobalt Button-Down with Teal Stripes but of course She Loves Colors so she added Magenta Tights & some Gorgeous Turquoise & Hot Pink Jewelry.
Tunde wore such a Girly Getup to Celebrate Her Baby's 1st Birthday. She chose Baby Pink Skinnies with an Ivory Lace Top layered on top of a Mint Tank with some Pretty Jewelry & Sparkly-Toed Gray Flats for accessories.
Frannie accessorized her Black Jumpsuit with Funky Brown & Gold Jewelry plus Leopard Pumps.
Alison feels wild about her outfit and she should. A simple but necessary-to-have Leopard Cardigan is paired with Red Jeans, Cognac Riding Boots & a Side Ponytail to a Pretty Perfection!
Annie is wearing one of her many Thick-Knit Infinity Scarves with a Beautiful Floral Blouse & Stripped Pencil Skirt. She mixes & matches so many Colors & Patterns looking Cozy & Stylish.
Lynette Marie wears a Popular Black Blazer over a Fuchsia Sweater layering up for Winter with a White-Button Down underneath, Tights, Boot Socks and Knee-High Boots. She looks Great!
Jenna Brianne also wears a Black Blazer with a Pretty Blush-Nude Blouse underneath. Her Hunter Green Jeans match that Beautiful Statement Necklace. She is one Stylish College Student.
Alice wears a Ponte, Shirt-Dress with a Leopard Scarf tied as a sash, Sassy Houndstooth Tights, Gorgeous Red Patent Leather Pumps as well as a Gorgeous Red Handbag. Love it.
Stephanie wears Winter Pastels: Soft Pink Cropped Skinnies, Dove Gray Sweater, Fur Snood all accessorized with a Beautiful Gold Watch, Funky Gold Bracelet & a Stunning Pair of Silver-Stoned Nude-Grayish Pumps.
Kim dresses up a Plaid Button-Down with Sequined Black Shorts. Her legs look super-long, lean & flawless with Black Tights & Black Booties. She is ready for a Fun Night Out, in this.

My First Guest Post: Heather and Kayla.

Hello All. I am glad that for the first time ever, I am having some Guest Bloggers in my Blog, while I take some time off from blogging on my own, going out and taking outfit photos (that will be the last thing on my mind), as I am welcoming a Little Miracle - My Girl - into this world. All of these bloggers have something special to share not just here on my page with you all, but on their own blogs, as well. I find them all to be inspirational. They are true to their styles and personalities and they are above all Real!

I am starting it off with a Post from one of my favorite Bloggers. It is actually two of them, they are Mother & Daughter, Heather & Kayla. For the past couple of years they have shared their passion for fashion together, creating a beautiful, realistic, unique blog known as "H&K Style Journey". So below is their post. Enjoy it! And check out their page because it is filled with more than just Style Posts.

Hello!  We are Heather (the mom) and Kayla (the daughter) from H&K Style Journey.  If you are reading this post right now, Ada is probably snuggling and cuddling her new baby girl!  Congratulations on your new bundle of joy and  enjoy every minute of it!
Speaking of moms and daughters, we are a mother-daughter blogging dual who like to share our clothes and do weekly remixes.  You can see all of our remixes here.  In honor of mothers and daughters everywhere, we wanted to post some pieces that we have shared in the past.
Heather (The Mom)

Kayla (The daughter)

Our goal when doing these remixes is to show our readers that you can make many pieces in your wardrobe remixable and that certain pieces can be worn by all ages.  We dug deep into our archives for some of these photos, lol!

Thank you Ada for letting us guest post for you while you are spending time with your little angel!
............................................................................................................ Thank you for sharing with me and it was a Pleasure having you BOTH, as Special Guests of my Blog, today.

Just a Couple of Things...

Happy Friday Friends. It has been a quiet Friday (emphasis on QUIET) for me pretty much since the baby has mostly slept during the day and I should too, because I can expect the night to be tougher, they usually are. It breaks my heart to see her cry when she does, but I understand she is just a few days old and this is all a huge adjustment for her and for me, as well. But in the late afternoon through the evening she woke up and was awake for a few hours. With that said I wanted to THANK all of you who commented, wished us well and congratulated both me and her after my announcement about her birth. She truly is Mamma's Princess, a beautiful, perfect little Baby Girl. Sometimes it seems surreal, I want to pinch myself. I love her DEARLY!

I still have a few more outfits I wore towards the end of My Pregnancy that I will share with you, but today I am running short on time (being a Brand-New Mom does that to you). I better get some food and some sleep before Vivian wakes up. Also, starting tomorrow stay Tuned for my First Guest Post. There will be more of those coming next week as well as through February. =) Thanks again for sticking with me while I take time to be a mom, everyone. I truly appreciate it. =)

Lavender, Turquoise and a Large Bow.

So, I have worn these pieces before (A LOT), especially while pregnant. This is one of of my favorite cardigans - I chose to wear it during Our Pregnancy Photo Shoot as well. It is simple & feminine - what I love. This Floral Turquoise Maternity Top is also one of my faves during My Pregnancy. Soft, stretchy, cottony & pretty. I added a jingly long necklace and my signature accessory - a Bow Headband - and voila, a simple, cozy and not so shabby outfit.

My Sweet Baby Girl Has Arrived!! WELCOME!!

Hello All, how is your Wednesday? Here I am making a Special Announcement, Today!!

You may or may not have noticed I didn't post last weekend an update on my Baby Story on Week 38. Also, you may have noticed I haven't been that active posting, commenting or checking out your blogs on a regular basis. Well, see there is a VERY GOOD REASON for all that...

I planned on writing "My Baby's Story: Week 38" on Friday January 18th and have it run on my blog, the next day. However, Friday evening is when I was submitted to the hospital, a few hours after my water broke and Saturday January 19th marked the birth, birthdate and birthday of My Sweet, Precious, Little Baby Girl whom we named Vivian, a name we have known about for 4-5 months, now. It is a name that originates from France and it means "Lively! Full of Life! Full of Energy". That is exactly how she is, even at 4 days old. And that is exactly how we want and wish for her to be FULL OF LIFE.

Vivian was born at 3.30 AM, Albanian Time (GMT) in Tirana - Albania. She weighs 6.6 lbs and measures at 19.2 inches tall. She is beautiful - that is all I am saying for now till you see photos of her. I know every mom says that about her baby but believe me, she truly is. For the most part it was a smooth birth and delivery. It was all natural, no epidural was used. Yes, I am in a little bit of pain now while I still recover but I only spent one night at the hospital (not counting the night she was born). And while a little sleep-deprived and quite tired, she is worth every small and big sacrifice. She truly is. Her birth was definitely the Sweetest Pain.

And while I tend to her as much as she needs me, while I still catch up on some sleep, I will try to stay active blogging as much as I can. I have pre-scheduled a few posts as well, including some outfits I wore during the last days of My Pregnancy and some worn during some Special Ocassions. I was behind outfit-posting for one and I don't plan on going out anywhere anytime real soon, so keeping things real around this blog and showing you outfits I have actually worn, though some days later. Also, I have a few nice Blog Friends filling out for me while I attend to my sweet little Vivian. Thank you Blog Friends. And with that said, I am still welcoming Guest Posts for you at my E-Mail Thank you.

P.S. Linking up today with Shanna for Random Wednesdays.

The Cake My Parents in USA ordered in Her Honor when she arrived, to welcome the Birth of their First Grandbaby.
A Special Balloon brought to us at the Hospital from two of my husband's cousins. In red it says WELCOME VIVIAN in Albanian.
More Balloons for Vivian & Mommy.
Beautiful Flowers Brought at the Hospital from Mommy & Daddy's Friends.
The Cake We Welcomed Home Vivian (special ordered by my In-Laws). We forgot to take a whole photo of the cake before cutting it but you get the idea. It also reads "Welcome Vivian" in Albanian.
