Farewell 2013 - the Best Year of my Life!!

Oh 2013 you are gone. You have been sooo good to My Husband Piro & I. You brought us Vivian and she is the Best Gift, the Sweetest Little Girl, the Most Beautiful Baby, the Loveliest Angel. You truly were the Best Year of My Life 2013!! Thank you 2013 for bringing her into our lives. She has filled our home and made our hearts more content and our souls full of joy. She has enriched us as people while making us her parents. Every smile she has gifted us has been like a little diamond. You proved to be Lucky 13. I know the best is yet to come as we see our gorgeous baby girl make her first steps in life (literally), grow into a toddler, start talking and understanding the world around her, call us Mommy & Daddy and continue to fill us with Unconditional Love, Unspoken Joy and Undeniable Happiness. We welcome 2014 with open arms starting with January when sweet Vivian turns the big O-N-E. Farewell 2013. The Furxhi and Dhima Families will never forget you. You have been so gracious to us. But we welcome 2014 with open hearts, through Vivian's laughter and her "Mamama's & Bababa's". Welcome 2014 and please don't go too fast. We don't want to miss a thing when it comes to Our Daughter Vivian. Welcome a New Year and may you be even Brighter, Better, Bolder and more Beautiful than the year we are leaving behind. May Vivian continue to bloom beautifully and may she be healthy & happy like she is.

Happy New Year 2014 to All!! Thank you for stopping by this blog daily, weekly or whenever you can and supporting my little home in the world wide web. Sometime later today on January 1st I am continuing my collaboration with LAURA from Why I Do DeClaire and bring you another Winter Must Have and I promise they are two Chic Outfits, we have going on. =) Thanks again for reading and Happy 2014!

Bows, Reds and Fair Isle for Vivian and I on Christmas Eve.

Hello. It's almost New Year. Happy New Year's Eve! I have a Special New Year's Eve Outfit coming to the blog tomorrow, just a few hours before midnight strikes in Albania. So stay tuned for that. =) But for today I am showing you my Casual yet Festive Christmas Eve Outfit from this year.

Christmas Eve is not a big deal in Albania. I wish it was. Truth is, the ones that are Christian do celebrate it and follow traditions, but work-places are open regular hours so people end up being at work until late. I didn't even wrap all of Vivian's Presents until late on Christmas Eve (after she fell asleep), but then she found them under the tree in the morning. I wore this New Sweater with embellished Silver+Gold Big Bow on the front and 3 smaller Bows on the back. I wanted a Bow Sweater badly and I finally found one I liked and for a good price (20 bucks) I purchased it. I do have Red Pants & Jeans but I hadn't worn these Corduroy Pants since I styled them as Mom's Fall Must Have, so I wanted to re-wear them again. I like that they are a Raspberry Red. Vivian wore a new, Colorful, Fair Isle Sweater Dress, her New hand-made Knit Scarf and this was the same Outfit she wore to see Santa Klaus. Doesn't she look adorable? Frosty the Snowman that Vivian is playing with was an early Christmas Eve Gift that morning, from her Great Uncle. How do you like Our Outfits?

Holiday Looks: Something Plaid.

We are just finishing the last weekend of December and of the year 2013. There are only two more days till we ring in 2014. In honor of the Holidays and continuing with the Holiday Looks I have been featuring this month on Tuesdays, I promise that this week's Outfits will feature a little Glam, a little Holiday Attire and a little Sparkle if you will. Today I am showing you Something Plaid. I have also shown you Holiday Sweaters 1 and 2, a Bustier and a Little Black Dress. If you notice from these Holiday Looks, I have mostly worn Red Shoes. Red screams HOLIDAYS to me what can I say.
Today's Look features my New Red Plaid/Tartan Blouse from Zara which I also paired from a Skirt by Zara. They are both new pieces which I love. I have been looking for a Dressy Red Tartan Blouse to wear this Holiday Season & more and when the right one came along (for the right price) I budged. The Skirt is a Stunner too, in its Vibrant Pumpkin Orange and it has pockets. I added my newest Bubble Necklace, this one is a Royal Blue which picks up the Blue from the Blouse & some (more) Sexy Red Stilettos. I also mixed Patterns and Textures; even my Black Tights are Floral. And this time I went for a Bold, Daring look so I simply wore a Red Bra that peeks through underneath the Chiffon Blouse. What do you think?
Red/Blue/Green/Gold Plaid, Chiffon Blouse w/ Long Sleeves: Zara (New).
Bright Orange Mini Skirt w/ Pockets: Zara (New).
Royal Blue, Large Bubble Necklace: Charlotte Russe (New).
Gold-tone, Pearl Stone, "Channel" Logo Stud Earrings: Channel.
Silver, Pave Ring w/ tiny Silver Stones & big Square Ruby in the middle: A Local Boutique (New).
Red+Black, Zebra-Print, Hair Bow Clip: Dollar Store (New).
Red Satin, Ruffle Purse w/ Black Metal Chain: Nine West.
Black Floral, Textured, Opaque Black Tights: Lauma (New).
Bright Red, Patent Leather, Strappy, Criss-Cross Stilettos: Carlos Santana.

Two-fer Friday: Soft Pink Sweater with Silk Panel.

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a Great Christmas first of all. I have been meaning to post an Outfit Post yesterday but once again the day slipped away from me, before I knew it. Today, I am also posting late because I have been busy and I haven't been feeling all too well, either. Thank you to all of you who have stopped by this blog this week, during the Holidays. I hope you enjoyed the latest Vivian Post filled with beautiful portraits from her very first photo shoot. =)

Since today is December 27th and this month is coming to an end very soon and due to a lack of posting and an accumulation of previous Outfits not shown on the blog before, today you get 2 Outfits featuring my Rose Pink, Silk-blend Sweater with the Silk Palette on the upper back. These 2 Outfits were worn about a month apart, since the first one (with the Sweatshirt Jacket) is from November and the second one from this month. As you will see with both Outfits, I styled the Sweater tying a Scarf the long way. What do you think of each Outfit? Does the Scarf work? To see how I last styled this Sweater look here. =)

In this first Outfit the Sweater is paired with my Darkest Skinny Blue Jeans, a Teal/Red/Green Floral Scarf, an Olive Green, Sweatshirt-Style Jacket, Teal Bubble Necklace & Bright Green Pointy Flats. It is my first time layering the Bubble Necklace over a Scarf and I kind of like it. I like that the Scarf sort of ties the Necklace & Shoes together with the Teal and the Brighter Kelly Green. And speaking of Green, I also like the 3-4 different shades of Green I used. Who would have thought that Pink & Green would look Peachy Keen? (Yes, I rhymed on purpose LOL.)
Soft Pink, Light Rayon-blend, Long-Sleeve Sweater w/ Silk Panel on the Back: Ann Taylor LOFT.
Olive Green, Sweatshirt, Long-Sleeve Jacket w/ Detachable Hoodie: Armani Exchange.
Dark Navy, Skinny Blue Jeans w/ Zippered Ankles: The Limited.
Teal, Green, Navy & Coral, Floral-Print Scarf: The Limited.
Teal/Mint Bubble Necklace: Apartment 9 (Kohl's).
Cognac, Leather, Braided, Skinny Belt: The Limited.
Bright, Kelly Green, Leather, Ballet Pointy Flats w/ Skinny Bows: Gap.

In this Outfit, the Sweater is paired with Beige, Cream & Brown for the most part. These Tribal, Ikat-print, Skinny Pants are my second pair of Printed H+M Skinnies that I purchased back in November. The first pair I showed you remixed into 6 Outfits earlier this month. To match the Light Pink Sweater, they also have some Light Pink in them. The Beiges/Browns and background Cream Color of the Pants match those same exact 3 Colors on the Scarf, while Pattern-Mixing, too. It was fitting to wear these Brown/Camel Boots with these Pants & Scarf.
Soft Pink, Light Rayon-blend, Long-Sleeve Sweater w/ Silk Panel on the Back: Ann Taylor LOFT.
Cream, Beige, Pink & Brown, Tribal, Ikat-Print, Skinny Pants: Divided by H&M (New).
Leopard, Knit, Off-White & Brown, Fringe Scarf: Purchased on a Street Vendor in Tirana.
Camel/Cognac, Faux Leather Suede Boots w/ Bronze Studs & Grommets: DSW (New).

It is Vivian's First Christmas!!

I Hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas which was Bright with Open Hearts, Rich with Gifts, Satisfying with Delicious Food and surrounded by all your Loved Ones. It was Vivian's very First Christmas and in just 4 short weeks she will be the Big O-N-E. It is insane to think that a year has gone by since she has been part of our lives. Our Home and Our Hearts are richer, fuller and kinder because of her.

Just a few days before Christmas on December 22nd we had a little professional Holiday Shoot scheduled for Vivian, in honor of her first Holiday Season. We were supposed to have it a week sooner by another photographer who was very rude and canceled just 3 hours before the appointment. But everything happens for a reason. A friend of mine called one of her photographer friends who is really good. He squeezed us in last minute and even E-Mailed us these 10 Photos (I took a few with her too) less than 24 hours later. So, I am sharing these pictures with you because they are beautiful and I am so proud of my Gorgeous Baby Girl, who everyone says could really be a Baby Model!

So what do you think? Does she have a future as a Baby or a Child Model? LOL She is my Doll (modeling or not) and every day I am thankful to God for her.

I also wanted to share a photo with Santa we took on Christmas Eve.

Vivian Visits Santa Klaus for the first time and for the most part she was fascinated by how he looked like and pulled on his beard. She behaved really well.

And last but not least, here a sneak peek of our first Christmas as a Family of three.

Vivian opening some of her gifts. She is hard at work as you can see and took this job seriously. Though she got tired quickly. It was such a fun pleasure to see her do this for the very first time. She was so curious and a little muffled and shocked because she didn't know where to look first.

Today for Christmas and during this Holiday Season I want to wish my own Daughter Vivian and all the babies that were born in 2013 a Merry First Christmas & a Happy First New Year! God Bless these little children and may they grow healthy, strong, smart & beautiful. They are the apples of their parents' eyes and the future of the universe!!

Season's Greetings Family and Friends from Ada, Piro & Vivian. (December 25th 2013. Tirana, Albania.)
