Belated Happy Monday to you all! It is a brand-new Monday of a brand-new month and a brand-new year for that matter. The ladies of The Blended Blog are back like every first Monday of a month and this time around the prompts are all about how we keep ourselves entertained through music, books, movies and TV. I love this one in particular because I love all those categories. So, here are my answers:
Book(s) you have read multiple times: I am ashamed to admit this but none of them. There are so many books out there, so many I want to read that I haven't yet. And so little time.
Favorite book/author of all time: When I was a teenager and as a young adult I loved VC Andrews and read almost all of her books. My favorite Albanian author is Fatos Kongoli. I own a lot of his books and have read most of his work. Now I love Nicholas Sparks for all the everyday stories of family, life and love. But in general I also love a good mystery so a book featuring crimes, murders and such is right up my alley, like "Sharp Objects".
Favorite TV Show to Binge: Wentworth. Scandal. You. I also like to binge-watch my soaps so I'd say "General Hopsital" and "The Young and the Restless".
Favorite new-ish TV Show: Manifest. A Million Little Things. You.
Favorite Movie of all time: a tie between "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost". It is just pure coincidence that Patrick Swayze is the main male character on both.
Movie you are looking forward to watching: I can think of a few from this past year I haven't seen but I am dying to see are - "If Beale Street Could Talk", "A Quiet Place", "Mary Poppins Returns", "A Star is Born" -- believe it or not I haven't seen that one either. I did just last week watch "Birdbox" though and loved it!
First Concert you attended: the very first one was actually in Albania when I was about 15 and it was of Redon Makashi this great male singer me and every girl my age had a crush on, back in the 90s.
Ultimate concert (even if it can't happen): I would get together Madonna, Sia, Backstreet Boys, Destiny's Child, Usher, Celin Dion, Tina Turner, Michael Buble, Lady Laga, N Sync, Adele, Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons and Sting on one stage and let them sing their hearts out!
Favorite music/artist/band: I always loved Michael Jackson. I also love Sia, Madonna, Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, Adele, Christina Perri and Justin Timberlake among others.
How do you listen?: When I am driving I listen to my favorite radio stations. At home I listen to Spotify, YouTube and Pandora Radio.
