Little Lace, Little Plaid.

Last day of February, gahhh. But I am looking forward to March and what it will bring - mostly warmer days and sunshine (I hope). Plus, March is a month of Holidays in Albania, one of which is International Women's Day or our unofficial Mother's Day. In Today's Outfit I am wearing this Blue Sweater Dress which has strips of Black Lace on its pattern. I mixed and matched it with my Maroon/Burgundy Plaid Scarf which I pinned a Lavender Sparkly Brooch to. More sparkle came via my Fireball Bracelets. I do apologize about my pesky gray hairs though, this outfit was prior to my recent hair coloring. And I finally got some Solid Burgundy (Marsala) Tights. They paired really well with the Cognac Boots, in my opinion, What do you think? Have you worn any Marsala Tights or Leggings this season?

Casual Valentine's Weekend Outfits.

Today, I am showing you a couple of Casual Outfits I wore on Valentine's weekend. As you can tell from them, I have been wearing a lot of Velvet this Winter. Just like yesterday, with my Hot Pink Velvet Blazer which you all loved (Thank You very much), today I am wearing a Khaki Velvet Blazer on the first outfit and Velvet Black Leggings on the second outfit.
I wore this outfit on February 13th during the daytime and I actually wore it to work. My work-place is pretty laid-back plus it was Friday so I made these Fun Rose-Print Pants work for my office. And, a little tip ladies: adding a Blazer makes an outfit instantly more polished, I promise. The Khaki/Nude Blazer plays off the Champagne and Blush Colors of my Pants. I also wore my New, Embellished Gray Tee from Zara (which I scored for a little under 15 bucks). Some Dangly Earrings, a Fun Bracelet + a Metallic Pearl Necklace which I wore as a Bracelet and Light Coral Lipstick finished off the look, for me.
Dangly Earrings w/ Black Crystal Square Stone & Circle Pearl: White House Black Market (gorgeous option, on sale, love these), (similar, great deal, love these), (simple, classic option, best deal).
Blueish-Silver Metallic Pearl Necklace (worn as Bracelet): Express (multi-colored, metallic, long option, love this), (similar gorgeous option w/ freshwater pearls, Splurge).
Beaded Bracelet w/ Gray Metallic Beads + Green Fireballs: A Random Jewelry Boutique (New) (very similar by MK, Splurge, love this), (similar w/ pearls by JC Penney, great deal, love this), (fun option by Guess, best deal).

This second outfit was worn during the day-time on February 14th, on Saturday. You got a sneak-peek of this outfit during my Valentine Recap. Coincidentally I wore some type of Gray, Cozy Knits/Sweatshirts 2 days in a row. And, as I was looking through my blog I wore this Sweatshirt last year during Valentine's week in a casual Outfit, too. This time I layered my Red Portofino Blouse underneath it with my Black Leggings and Gorgeous, Edgy, New Brown Boots. All I did was accessorize with a Metallic Pearl Necklace.
Red, Loose-Fit, Silky, Button-Down "Portofino" Blouse: Express(very similar, best deal, love this), (similar by Liz Claiborne, on sale), (gorgeous pullover option by August Silk).
Blueish-Silver Metallic Pearl Necklace (worn as Bracelet): Express (multi-colored, metallic, long option, love this), (similar gorgeous option w/ freshwater pearls, Splurge).

Below is last year's version of how I styled this Gray Sweatshirt. I posted the Outfits side by side. Which one do you like more? And next week I will be posting the rest of my Outfits (albeit more dressy versions) from Valentine's Weekend, so stay tuned. =)

Houndstooth, Bright Pink and Pearls.

Happy Hump Day!! Let's start off by saying that I love Today's Outfit. And the makeup and the hair (it was freshly-colored and trimmed, that day). It was a great day style-wise let's put it that way. Or better yet a great Stylish Evening since this was an evening Outfit that I wore a few weeks ago for a dinner+drinks+live music Girls' Night Out to celebrate one of my Best Friend's Birthdays.
I snapped the photos with my other camera and it took me a while to post this. But, what usually happens when I like an Outfit is take a lot of photos of it. Plus my husband was home that evening playing daddy duty so I could enjoy a little me time. He ended up taking the pictures for me.
I took this Flower Basket to the Birthday Girl that evening. It ended up making such a pretty decoration in the middle of our table, as we dined in. And she loved the arrangement, also.
So, last Fall my mom sent me some clothes (shopping my closet from her house) and I am so glad this Houndstooth Gray+Black Sheath was one of the pieces she mailed me. This Sleeveless Ponte Sheath comes with the Black Belt. I have purchased it from Charlotte Russe about 6 years ago. It looks pretty expensive and it is nicely-made. I did wear it a few times to work and a couple of times for going out at my last job in the States. But, it hadn't been worn in a long while. Finally I re-wear it. I paired it with my Bright Pink Velvet Blazer and Matching Pink Tights. Between the Houndstooth and the little Chevron Pattern on the Tights, there is a little subtle print-mixing here. I am also happy I purchased these Marsala Oxford Pumps in the beginning of last Fall. They seem to go with so much. I plan on doing an entire Marsala Week in March so you will see them again, soon. I wore some Dangly Pearl Earrings, a Pearl Necklace and a few Pearl Bracelets to finish off this Elegant, Dressy Look. Like I said I loved the outcome. Do you? Do you own a Houndstooth Sheath? I linked some awesome options, below.
I matched the flowers I brought in, also lol. Bonus!

Real Mom, Winter Cozy Style - Link Up.

Today I am joining ANGELA from Reasons to Dress in co-hosting Real Mom Style - a Tuesday Link-up not just for Moms. Angela and I have a few things in common. We are both Americans currently living in European Cities and Mommy to Toddlers. Angela's style is so Urban-European, Up-town Chic. Over-sized coats, jeans, trousers, boots, blanket scarves and hats are part of her everyday style. Her posts also show gorgeous Italy where she is currently living and other Fashionable Italian Mammas.
Paying honor to the link-up I am totally showing my Mom Style in my Cozy Winter Layers. That is why I call this "Real Mom, Winter Cozy Style". And this Outfit was worn yesterday. I have been feeling the flu around me and I warmed up in lots of layers and Fur-lined Boots even. It did get warm later on the day so I skipped the Scarf. I am glad this Over-sized Knit Fair Isle Scarf finally made it into the blog. I love the elephants on it. It paired well with the Blue Sweater (love the bow detail on the back), Cherry Red Turtleneck, Grayish-Black Jeans, Brown Boots and Burgundy Beanie. If I had a Coffee (hmmm Starbucks) cup in my hand, I'd look even more like a Style Blogger lol. Have you bundled up in warm layers and cozy knits, lately?
Navy, Textured, Shimmery Sweater w/ Loop Back tied w/ a Silk Bow & Silver Stone Chest Pocket: Koton (similar w/ gray bow sash, great deal, love this), (gorgeous over-sized cowl-neck option, best deal, love this), (gorgeous draped option by Alice+Olivia, on sale), (fun cropped option).
Off-Black Wash, Skinny Jeans w/ Metallic Studs in the back pockets: White House Black Market (very similar, Splurge), (similar by All Saints, love these), (similar by Old Navy, best deal, love these), (this year's option by WHBM, fantastic deal).
Baby Pink/Brown/Beige/Ivory Fair Isle, Thick Oversized, Knit Scarf: A Random Boutique (New) (very similar by J.Crew, great deal, love this), (gray+ivory option by Gap, great deal, love this), (pretty, infinity option, fantastic deal).
Burgundy, Wool Knit French Beret w/ Burgundy Pearls (Embellished): A Random Boutique (similar, newsboy-cap by Nine West, great deal, love this), (elegant option, love this).
