Flashback Friday: Holiday Work and Party Looks.

For this week's edition of Flashback Friday - posting later than usual, because you know life gets in the way - I thought to look back at some dressy looks I have worn in the past couple of years. These looks are good to wear for your office job or your different holiday parties and events. Some of these outfits can easily take you from your desk job to your dinner and wine party, easily.

This look is glamorous, sexy and fun. That Red/Blue/Hunter Green Chiffon Windowpane Plaid Blouse is beautiful. It has black leather detail on the high mock-neck collar and cuff of the sleeves. The way I styled it here with a red bra peeking underneath is fine for a Holiday Party, but not your job's holiday party. To make it office ready, add a Nude Camisole underneath and you can switch the Sexy Red Strappy Stilettos for Classic Black Pumps. If you want, you can add a Black Blazer too.

This was an office look where I styled a two-in-one dress. The tiered patterned skirt of this dress makes it fun for the Holidays. While Cobalt Blue isn't a typical Holiday Color, when paired with pops of Red and having Black as the background, it makes for a Chic Holiday-Ready Office Look. Even my Scarf is Cobalt and Red.

I called this post "50 Shades of Green" because I am wearing a lot of green, including those socks peeking from my Oxford Wedges. If you work at a pretty casual office this outfit works for now. That Emerald Silky Blouse is stunning. Imagine that blouse tucked in that Satin Red Pencil Skirt I wore yesterday. Add some Gold Pumps and it is a Stunning Christmas Party Look.

This was my Casual New Year's Eve Look from 2 years ago when it was just my husband and I with a baby at home, for the first time as a family of three. The little shimmer in the sweater with the silver pocket detail and bow on the back, add a little glam to this look. And I wore bejeweled flats. Once again, in a more business-casual environment, this look works out fine. It is plenty colorful.

Orange for the Holidays? Sure, why not! Add some Stiletto Booties, a Fun Rose Belt and a Python Colorful Clutch and you got an Outfit ready to take you to work and beyond for after hours.

This was not a Holiday Look but I figured a LBD paired with a Kelly Green Blazer and a Bold Red Bag works great for December as a Work Outfit. The legs look longer with Nude Pumps, too.

So many textures, colors and patterns in this outfit. Dark Skinny Jeans when paired with Classic Black Patent Leather Pumps are also fine for a Casual Office or a Friday Work Look. Take the Fair Isle Scarf, Cap Beret and Finger-less Gloves off (for when you are working) of course. But let me just say, these warm Winter Accessories make a statement to this outfit.

I love this outfit. This dress reminds me so much of Christmas and particularly of Peppermint Candy. A White Blouse always looks so chic under a Sleeveless Dress. A Bow is so in now (in blouses, collars, coats, dresses and more) but I think a Bow is specially perfect for December. And Burgundy Booties - they are rich and read Holidays!

If this Plaid Peplum two-in-one Dress isn't perfect for Christmas then I don't know what is? I kept the look elegant and seamless on the bottom wearing Opaque Black Tights and Black Knee-High Leather Boots. I also have on a Statement Necklace with Jewel-toned Hearts and my Red+White Bag is also great for the Holidays. Once again an outfit that works both for work and for a festive party.

The quintessential pattern of the Holiday season is Plaid, especially Buffalo Plaid. My Shirt is not in a Classic Red Buffalo Plaid but in a Royal Blue Buffalo Plaid instead. I matched it with some other Deep Blue pieces and pattern-mixed with Polka Dots. The Chanel-Inspired Blazer keeps things polished and elegant. Yet, it is such a cozy look.

I love Windowpane, especially for the Holidays. These pants are some of my favorites I own and trust me I own a lot of Patterned Pants. This Red Silk Blouse has a Black Lace Bow in its design all over the front. It is perfect for the Holidays. Since it was a cold day in December I layered both a Red Cardigan and a Light Black Military Jacket. I wore this to work.

Black Velvet Leggings are perfect for the Holiday season, especially when paired with a Gorgeous Holiday Sweater. My Sweater has Sequined Parrot Birds on the front. I love that the sweater is black so those sparkly birds stand out even more. Plus it makes the look seamless with the black leggings.

In this Outfit I faked a LBD with a Black Pencil Skirt and See-Through Knitted V-Neck Sweater (with a Black Cami underneath). I also wore folded OTK Boots with Plaid Tights and a Deep Red Cord Blazer. The Silver Big Pearl Necklace and my Pearl Bracelets make it elegant. But again it is a very cozy outfit for work. If you work at a more conservative office then by all means wear some Black Pumps instead of Colored Boots.

Hunter Green, Marled Knits and Leather are all fine for the Holidays too. I added a Gold Pave Bow Necklace to dress it up a bit. In retrospect some Black Flats or Black Booties would have looked better here.

To this day, this Midi Color-Blocked Sweater Dress is one of my favorites I own. So many colors go with it. My Big Cobalt Bubble Necklace looks so good with it and so does the Hot Pink+Orange Python Clutch. I am also wearing some Metallic Wedge Pumps.

Last but not least a mixture of a Classic Red Fair Isle Sweater with a dose of Classic Black+White Pinstripes. Add some Red Satin Peep-Toe Pumps, a Fun Necklace, Red Lipstick and a Bun and you are good to go to work or to a party.
