Cozy. Elegant. Graphic.

I want to start off today by saying Thank You for all the compliments I received yesterday. Thanks for loving those glasses on me and for complimenting me on how I look in Teal. Lucky for me, my vision was 20/20 the last time I checked. I wore those glasses just as a fashion accessory. Unfortunately I seem to have lost them. And, I listened to you guys and indeed wore a little bit more Teal today. Also, having a broken lap-top has resulted on posting several very recent outfits. Once again just like last Tuesday, the Outfit I am about to post now I am currently wearing. I wore it this morning when I took Vivian to the daycare and then ran some errands and renewed some papers. I wore it during lunch-time when I picked up Vivian and I plan on wearing it tonight to the Marketing session I currently teach. This Outfit was perfect for today, because I wanted to join Andi for Graphic Tee Week and Laura B. for Trend Spin Weekly which today's theme is Cozy Knits. I love when I hit so many birds with just one stone lol.
Just like I titled this post, this Outfit has all of those elements. It is a little Cozy, a little Graphic and a little Elegant. The cozy part comes via the Thick Knit Chocolate Cardigan and the Metallic Teal, Infinity Scarf. The graphic part is of course my Paisley White/Navy/Silver-Embellished Graphic Tee. And of course these Cropped Black Pants and the Brown, Wedge, Oxford Shoes are quite elegant and dress it up. I added some Blue Crystals on my ears and my wrist for some sparkle, also a plum lipgloss. Cozy Knits, Oxford Shoes, Wedge Booties, Cropped Pants and Graphic Tees are very trendy this Fall 2014 season, but in actuality I have had all of these pieces for a long time. So, it is good not to get rid of everything that is hiding in your closet. It is nice also that these clothes are from 3 brands I trust and wear a lot (like at least 70-75% of my closet is made up of these 3 brands: The Limited, Express and White House Black Market). You can definitely find many cute, elegant pieces at these 3 stores, also. This Outfit was perfect to wear today because it was very chilly this morning and it will be cool this evening too. Though it did warm up quite a bit around early afternoon. That is what's good about layering. I felt like this is the first Outfit I have worn this Fall that definitely feels Fall-ish. What do you think?

F.Y.I. There will be more booties, more graphic tees and more cropped pants coming to this blog in the next few days, so stay tuned.
And here (above) is how I layered. You have to admit, this Outfit looks much better with the Scarf, especially if you add the Cozy Cardigan on top. These layers were indeed necessary for warmth. But they add a style element, as well.
White, V-Neck Graphic Tee w/ a Black+Navy Paisley Print & Silver Embellishment: White House Black Market (similar by Lucky Brand, love this), (gorgeous blue option by Jones New York, great deal, love this), (similar by Nicole Miller, best deal).

Black, Dressy, Cropped Pants w/ Buckle Tab on the waist: The Limited (very similar by Tahari, best deal, love these), (similar by Gap, on sale, love these), (gorgeous option by Theory, splurge).
