Teal with Touches of Black and Navy.
Happy Monday Morning You All!! The 4th week of October is already upon us, which means Halloween is only 10 days away, then in a blink of an eye we will be celebrating Turkey Day and Black Friday (of course) and before we know it Christmas will be here.
First things first today ANDI from Just Another Smith does a themed link up every month. And this month it is all about Graphic Tees. I will be linking up some new, current Outfits featuring Graphic Tees this week, but on the days I am not wearing a Graphic Tee, I thought it would be fun to look back into some previous outfits (from several years ago) where I am showing a Graphic Tee.
Picture was taken on St. Patrick's Day 2009 at a Cafe in Michigan. Of course I had to Honor St. Patty's so I chose a Green, Embellished Graphic Tee from Express. And this is a very rare time when I am wearing Glasses. I don't need nor wear glasses or contacts, but a few years back I bought this fun 'Geek' pair to wear just for fun (they are not glasses that enhance my vision or anything). I was shopping with a friend and tried these on and she absolutely loved them on me. What do you think?
From a Green Graphic Tee to something else on the Green side - a Teal, Ruched, Body-con Dress. I wore this to run errands for the day, shopping and dinner with family. I wore some heels at first but I took these flats with me since I had a long day ahead with a lot of walking and chasing after Vivian. The pictures were taken later in the day so I photographed the Dress with my Polka Dot Flats. And yes the Tights are Black (in a Diamond Print) and the Pointy Flats are Navy (with White Polka Dots), a little Print-Mixing going on there. Some small Drop Earrings, a little Butterfly Necklace and a Sock Bun and I was done.
Teal, Jersey Knit, Body-con, Ruched Dress w/ Cap Sleeves & Chiffon detail over 1 Shoulder: The Limited (very similar by Nicole Miller), (similar, dressy option, great deal, love this), (similar w/ tulip skirt, best deal, love this).
Silver, Drop Earrings w/ Small Brown Crystal Flowers: JC Penney (very similar by Betsey Johnson, great deal, love these), (similar, vintage-inspired by Betsey Johnson, on sale), (similar by JC Penney, best deal, love these).
Sterling Silver, Thin Chain Necklace w/ Green Lucite Butterfly Pendant: Avon (similar in sterling silver, love this), (gorgeous option by Swarovski, love this), (similar w/ blue crystals by JC Penney, best deal, love this).
Black, Diamond-Print Tights: Old Navy (very similar, best deal), (similar, great deal, love this), (fun option #1, great deal, love these), (fun option #2, love these).
Navy+White, Suede Leather, Pointy Toe Ballet Flats: Gap (similar by Dr. Scholls), (slip-on style by Skechers, great deal, love these), (gorgeous Oxford style by BCBG, on sale), (classic boat shoe option by Sperry's, love these).
One more thing, don't forget to join my Link Up starting this Wednesday October 22nd where we wear Pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. It can be a Pink Skirt, a Pink Dress, or even something small like a Pink Necklace, Pink Lipstick or Pink Nail Polish. Join me. Tank You!
P.S. Linking up with Claire (who also featured me in her "Creative Mondays" post today, so Thank You), Doranda, Gina + Carylee, Elena, Jen, Laura, Lauren, LeeAnn, Molly, Nicole, Rachelle, Rhea, Shea, Style Elixir and Whitney.

I actually really love those glasses on you! I just got a new pair of glasses (for seeing distances) that I have having trouble adjusting too. I'm just not used to having something on my face. lol

Loving all the teal. I don't have a lot of teal in my closet but I'm seeing a lot of it on bloggers lately and I love it. I really love your "geek" glasses look, super cute! And that dress fits you like a glove. Have a great week, Ada! ~Cynthia
