The Sunday Showcase Linkup, December 2018: Winter Sweaters.

Happy December Lovelies!! It is the last month of 2018 and we are here with the 10th and last of this year Sunday Showcase. Since it is the first Sunday of the month, my Beautiful Friends and Co-Hosts KELLYANN from This Blonde's Shopping Bag and CHRISSY from Granola and Grace and I are back with "The Sunday Showcase" for December. Our lovely Chrissy picked the 'theme' for this month and it is all about Sweaters. It is Winter after all, though both Kellyann and Chrissy reside in hot Florida. However in Michigan, it is most definitely sweater weather. This 'theme' is beyond perfect for me because I have been wearing and styling sweaters non-stop lately. As a matter of fact I had a hard time deciding what sweater to showcase today, I had at least 10 looks I had photographed that I could choose from. But December is all about being festive and I totally dressed up my sweater+jeans ensemble with lots of sparkle and crystals!

Coincidentally all three of us styled sweaters with jeans. Love how bright and gorgeous the rainbow sweater that Kellyann wore looks, perfect with her matching hot pink Kendra Scott necklace+earrings. Love that she chose black skinnies too (I need a slightly distressed pair of black jeans, like hers). While Chrissy who loves Boho looks chose a fun Western-Inspired Black+White Patterned Tunic Sweater. She stayed true to herself in those distressed jeans layered with tights underneath to keep her warm. I hear they have had some cool days below 60s in sunny Florida. Stop by their blogs today to show them some love and check out their beautiful outfits.

HOW  I  STYLED  MY  NAVY  BELL-SLEEVE  SWEATER.
My Navy Bell-Sleeve Sweater and these Absolution Black Skinny Jeans I cannot stop wearing are both from Nordstrom. I purchased them last year during their Anniversary Sale. While the sweater is a trendy item, it is a very well made 100% cotton knit and I love the fabulous sleeves with the white piping on the sleeves. With the black skinnies, this outfit looks totally monochromatic. However to both dress it up and make it holiday-appropriate I added a lot of sparkle and crystals to it via my jewelry and those Blush Pink Velvet Boots by Who What Wear which are my only pop of color, besides my lipstick and the little mint + citrus green in my necklace. My Fabulous Necklace, Pave Mosaic Cocktail Ring and those Gold Pave Filigree Earrings, as well as the boots all make a statement! Ditto for the Fun+Trendy Grey Floppy Felt Hat (purchased 2 Winters ago at Old Navy). Believe it or not the necklace and earrings were steals and were found at Wal Mart! Also, the white snow on the ground is the most snow we have gotten this season so far (it has snowed about 6 times but the other ones have melted right away). But even this one snow only stayed on for about 24 hours. Long enough for me to take these pretty pics. Oh and I am wearing sunglasses because I have to wear them during snow and sun. My eyes cannot tolerate either. Are you wearing a lot of sweaters this Fall+Winter?! Do you own a Bell-Sleeve Sweater?! Do you like how I styled mine?!

It was so hard selecting these favorites from November's Sunday Showcase but all these ladies nailed it! Coincidentally all three have on sweaters: Long Cardigan, a V-Neck Sweater and a Regular Cardigan. Loving these Wintery Looks, all very put-together!

  3. Love this look. It's subtle and has just enough bling with that lovely statement necklace. So I've been dying to find a fall, wide rimmed hat, but I am so hesitant to make the leap. I really think you wore it well. Hope you ladies had a fun weekend.
