The Sunday Showcase Linkup, November 2018 - Bohemian, Western Vibes and Skeletons.
You guys, how is it ALREADY NOVEMBER?! As I am typing this I am watching "The Christmas Ornaments" movie on Hallmark Movie Channel and I do have Christmas things in mind. However, today, for November's Sunday Showcase, I thought showing you the beautiful displays of skeletons Downtown Northville Michigan, to wrap up this fun Halloween week was the right post. Especially since my Outfit which I wore on October 6th - (on a Sunday spent with Vivian) when these photos were taken - is both Bohemian and with Western Vibes, exactly like the outfits shown by my lovely co-hosts KELLYANN from This Blonde's Shopping Bag and CHRISSY from Granola and Grace. I must say they look a lot more Summery than me because they live in Florida. I love that we all wore jeans and Kellyann's pair is almost identical to mine. Also, we all accessorized with Big+Beautiful Long Necklaces. Yes ladies, the accessories do matter!
SKELETONS DOWNTOWN NORTHVILLE.
The annual tradition with Downtown Northville (the main center) is displaying different skeletons. It is a beautiful and unique tradition. The photo above shows the main area of the centre, complete with a little ceiling of nets and spiders. This year the skeletons didn't dissappoint either. They were shown playing karate, painting, playing the guitar, doing yoga, or as a doctor, a race-car driver, an Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's, etc. etc. They were all so cool and Vivian loved them and followed the "do not touch" rule perfectly.
BOHEMIAN, WESTERN VIBES.
Both Chrissy and Kellyann are sharing Western-Inspired Boots on the blog today and they each styled them with either a bell-bottom or a touch of suede. I am glad to know that my outfit is perfectly-matched in the "Bohemian Western theme" without even planning it ahead with them, since I wore my Bell Bottom Blue Jeans purchased downtown Toronto with my Black Suede Fringe Bag from Express and my Olive Suede Wedge Loafers from Lord+Taylor (all these 3 pieces are over 5 years old). On top I am wearing a Light Knit Navy Blouse with a lace insert on the front by the chest (by Loft) and of course this Cozy, Warm, Wool Leopard Cardigan purchased last year at Target. I accessorized with my Sparkly Iridescent Rose Gold Square Studs by Kate Spade and a Purple Silk Rosette Headband by The Limited which matches Vivian's own Purple Flower Headband. I added the Beautiful Silver Long Pendant Necklace (you can switch one of the pendants and I bought a couple of different ones) from a local boutique in my hometown. But I must say I love how my makeup came out that day. The face looks pretty flawless as far as the skin goes. Little Vivian loves unicorns so I am glad I found this Hot Pink Unicorn Sweatshirt at Wal Mart for her. The Heather Grey Joggers are from Target last year and we thrifted that Red Puffer Land's End Vest for her, the same day as these photos were taken. Vivian is also wearing the millennial pink sneakers I also bought in my size (at Wal Mart). She is the cutest and steals the spotlight... as always!
The 2 looks all of us loved the most from October's Sunday Showcase are on the collage below. And I see these stylish ladies have some things in common with us today: leopard, layers, long statement necklace and booties. They both look fantastic!
In knots and bows, KIM from The Champagneista showed us a very stylish and casual way to wear an 'Utility Jacket'. She dressed it up a little too with her Gold Statement Earrings and Buttery-Tan Foldover Clutch.
I personally featured PATTI from Not Dead Yet Style myself on last month's Sunday Showcase Linkup. This time around she is a little funky in 'A Little Black Dress'. While her dress may be simple and an empty canvas, her accessories are not: great booties and necklace!
Now it is your turn to "showcase" anything beautiful and fun you have been doing, buying, shopping for, decorating or wearing lately. Come join us for a brand-new "The Sunday Showcase" linkup. Have a Great Sunday!!
Your cardigan look super cozy. Also what a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Thank you for the link up! I just love your cardigan.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had so much fun. I had no idea Northville had that big of a skeleton display! (I grew up in Plymouth/Canton) and my FIL lives in Northville--we were there in August. Too bad I was such a new blogger and didn't realize you were there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool Halloween display - I've never seen anything like it! Your make up looks great Ada! Funny that we both chose flare leg denim!
