Thursday Moda #142: Thanksgiving Style.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING LADIES! I hope your dining tables are filled with yummy goodness and that you feast to your little heart's desire! I hope your homes are warm and filled with love! I hope your shopping goes smoothly and you treat yourself to a few new things! Today I am thankful for many things. My daughter Vivian, my health+her health and my family are my top 3 'things' I am grateful for. But today I am also thankful for you all: for your comments, your support, your following, your likes and shout-outs on Instagram, your friendship and the joy your smiles and words bring to me! Thank you beautiful ladies!

Also, today I am joined by a lovely co-host and that is YAUDY from Yaudy's Style. This beautiful Latina and I (without planning it) are sharing Comfortable, Casual, Put-Together Thanksgiving Looks for you today. We also didn't plan this but we both have on black jeans and paired them with Fall-Hued Sweaters. My outfit is a little more classic and timeless while hers is edgy and fabulous. I adore the boots and those 80s-inspired jeans she is wearing are incredible on Yaudy! But I am not surprised one bit because Yaudy is one of those women who could wear anything. She mixes a lot of current trends into her outfits and always looks great doing so. She also has a great collection of shoes and boots and amazing legs! I love her fun outdoor photos, too.

You gotta make the best of those days when the weather is in the 40s and sunny. It worked out perfect with this outfit because besides my sweater with a tank top underneath and the quilted vest over it, I didn't need anything else for the few minutes outside walking in and from out of the car. I thought this outfit was perfect for today because it has the Perfect Fall Hues: Eggplant Purple, Orange, Rust, Black, Maroon and Leopard - which is a neutral. There is a mixture of textures between the Mixed Media Sweater by Loft which has that sort of layered look with the blouse bottom, the Quilted Wine Vest which I thrifted, the tassels on the shoes, the pom poms on the earrings and my favorite piece - those Luxe Suede Skinny Pants by Old Navy. Also, between the floral design which is part of the sweater and the leopard loafers I did a little bit of subtle pattern-mixing, keeping it all within a few colors. But this casual yet dressy outfit, which can work for a business casual office or Thanksgiving Dinner at home, got a little fancied up by all the jewelry. Each piece of jewelry: Bauble Necklace, Pom Pom Earrings, the Purple Crystal Ring and the Oval Pearl Cocktail Ring all make a statement! It ended up being a great look, what do you think?! What are you wearing this Thanksgiving?! What is the weather like where you live?! It is supposed to go back in the 40s (though low 40s) for us this weekend.

As I mentioned I love these sweater+blouse in one top by Loft. Loft has these fun mixed media sweaters with the built-in blouses every season. They currently have a couple very similar to mine in a plum or burgundy color and I linked some on the widget at the bottom of this post. Speaking of Loft they have the best Thanksgiving/Black Friday Sale going on right now where everything is 50% OFF. They have my favorite skirts as usual (I own more Loft skirts than from any other brand), the prettiest and coziest sweaters - a lot of them Holiday and Winter-themed, some great holiday dresses, the best pants and leggings, plus beautiful jewelry, scarves and many cute shoes! Go ahead Loft - take ALL my money lol!

Apparently I am not the only one that has loved High Boots the last 2-3 years. You ladies do too and you love wearing them with dresses like I did last week when I also co-hosted the "Your Own Twist" Linkup. Thank you to everyone who joined us. I had a hard time choosing favorites as there were over 100 outfits linked. But I can see from my collage that there are some Holiday inspirations running through these chic Wintery Looks.  =)

This week's Featured Blogger is the beautiful MARIA from Passion Fruit, Paws and Peonies - love the fun and unique name of her blog. But what I love even more is that Maria's slogan is "Elegance is Timeless" and I agree 100% especially knowing Maria's style which is always elegant, timeless and classic. And you all know how I feel about elegance. Maria looked timeless and effortlessly elegant in her Navy+Ivory Ensemble she selected to wear for a Ladies Lunch. Not only is that navy jumpsuit so elegant and in a classic style but I love it with the little lacy bolero which I think makes a great layering piece to style for the holidays. Also Maria carries that beautiful graphic clutch often and I love it. Maria's blog is filled with smart, classic, sophisticated outfits as well as lots of beautiful travel logs. She recently visited New England too and wore some wonderful outfits, plus we saw some beautiful backgrounds. This lovely woman always inspires me!

I agree with Rachel that her rose gold pleated beauty is 'The One Skirt You Need for the Holidays'. Lucky for me, I own a similar one. Her styling is so sophisticated and lady-like and hands down the best nude pumps!
Andrea has quite the story to tell you about her 'Reese Plaid' dress which I love. Ditto love on those scrunched beige boots - I happen to own them too! Also the blooming red background matches her dress!
Tall, Adjustable, Matte Black Hunter Boots are the #1 item I want to gift myself this Christmas and my friend Jill looking all cute bundled up, showed me 'How to Wear Hunter Boots with a Dress'.
'Pattern Mixing with Stripes + Plaid' is right up Carrie's alley. This layered, cozy, put-together look is 100% her style. Love the comfy neutral boots.
I love a black-on-black look done right and Jaymie did just that in her 'Thanksgiving Swing Look'. The pop of leopard via her clutch was just perfect!
The always colorful Katie does 'Shine like a Rainbow'. The perfect, most beautiful, bright-colored sweater to match that stunning rainbow wall! Love the bright bag and shoes too.

This week's Thursday Moda Co-Host: Yaudy's Style.
I have followed Yaudy for a couple of years now and as I mentioned above this woman can rock any style. Her personal style is very diverse as the collage below shows. I chose just some of my favorite looks she has blogged recently. I must say I love the bold green maxi, her python booties, the white button-down and those unique striped mules. Also, totally rocking those hats Yaudy. The hats are both so on trend now, too.
From Yaudy's Mouth:
"Yaudy's Syle is a site dedicated to the everyday working woman.  I am a bargain shopper, so staying on budget is always a must.  Also, my blog is a place where you can learn how to shop your own closet, and how to transition your work clothes into the weekend. I can be found on Instagram and Pinterest."
