Flashback Friday: Red, White and Blue for Memorial Day.

Happy Friday an Happy Memorial Day 2018, you all! It is officially the start of Summer as Memorial Weekend symbolizes just that. =) Today, I am taking a walk down Red+White+Blue Fashion lane and recapping some of my favorite All AMERICANA, Patriotic Looks I have worn over the last 3 years (and blogged them too). These cute outfits would all be adorable to wear for Memorial Day weekend, around 4th of July or even later on for Labor Day. But, as a matter of fact, red+white+blue is great to wear all Summer long because not only does this trio of colors symbolizes America and our freedom but it is also a great Summer combination and totally nautical!

I have had this Dark Red Poplin Sleeveless Shirtdress by Banana Republic for years and wore it a few times the years I lived in Albania. Well this casual yet put-together Red Shirtdress paired with Classic White Converse Sneakers and some Blue Accessories (like my Blue Glass Necklace + Blue+Red Crossbody Bag) equals totally Americana Style. So chic, simple and put-together for a casual OFF Summer Day. Total mom babe look!

In this post I did a matchy Mommy+Me post featuring my sweet Vivian and we both wore Oversized Red Gingham Linen pieces by Old Navy. My sweet girl has grown up so much since 2 Summers ago. How time flew! I just added Simple Navy Flip Flops and my romper was already Red+White so I was good to go. Love Vivian's Mixed Prints though.

This is from 3 Summers ago. It has a twist to it because it is mostly Navy and White with some green (on my Colorblocked Peplum Tank). The Green from the tank brings out all the green of the Floppy Hat. To stay patriotic I wore my Canvas American Flag Slip-On Sneakers. And I added more red via my Statement Stone Necklace.

This outfit was worn on a week I collaborated with my friend DEBBIE who is the queen of Bohemian Style. During this Spring Bohemian week this Soft Shorts Embroidered Blue Romper is one of the pieces I wore. I made it more Americana with my Blue Denim Vest. You can do a version of this outfit and wear some Red Earrings or Red Sandals or a Red Crossbody Bag.

One of my most favorite looks I wore last Summer. So simple yet a little girly. Totally mom-friendly and also appropriate for a casual office. That white top with the Blue+Red Embroidery design is so pretty. I can see it paired with a white pencil skirt, white skinny jeans, red skirt or red pants too. And of course it would look great with a classic denim skirt or blue jeans.

How pretty is this Navy+Turquoise Silky Jumpsuit. I have worn it many times. For a twist I paired it with a Hot Pink Cardigan matched by a Hot Pink Beaded Necklace and a Hot Pink Skinny Belt. For Memorial Day you can swap all the hot pink for red. The way I dressed this up, would be perfect for work. Also for a dinner date.

A Eed+White Striped Dress with a Blue Denim Jacket and Sneakers. A great idea for a put-together Athleisure Look but also totally Americana. Very simple but not short on style.

Love that this dress has blue, white and red on it already. The bubble hem, short hemline and plunging neckline make it great for a fun Summer date night, especially on the patio of a fancy restaurant. If that's where you would wear it, dress it up like I did with Pumps and a Ruffled-Trim Red Clutch. This happens to be one of my favorite outfits in this flashback post, too.

There is something so soft, breezy and ethereal about a white maxi dress, especially if it is in cotton, linen or gauze. This one I wore two Summers ago looked great with the Red Accessories and for some blue I went with Turquoise Jewelry.

This would make a great work look. Yes, those white jeans but there is no distress so they can be worn to work. They look great with the Blue Pumps and Blue Oversized Gingham Tank. I added a Navy Clutch and layered two Fun Necklaces, too. An outfit like this can be worn every Summer and it will always look fresh!

How pretty is this Red Eyelet and Swiss Dot Peplum Top?! I love it with my White+Navy Geo-Print Tulip Pencil Skirt for work. I like how I went for Camel Shoes instead of let's say white, red, navy or nude. Another one of my favorite outfits for sure.

This is a mostly all-white outfit featuring my White Distressed Skinny Jeans and this Oversized Bell-Sleeve Navy Striped Top with the fun crocheted hemline. Love it with my Favorite (Neutral) Floppy Hat for the Summer. And for a pop of red I chose my Red Thong Laceup Sandals.

This Little White Dress is one of my favorites. The tiers are so pretty. I decided to add a Blue Belt and Red D'Orsay Flats to it. I like that this outfit can be both casual and dressy at once. If your work environment is business casual, you could totally wear it!

Every woman should own a few Jersey/Cotton-Blend Striped Dresses. This is probably my Favorite Casual Striped Dress. It is perfectly nautical and the midi length makes it work-friendly, so you can dress it up or down or just in between, like I did here. With my Fun Rosette Peep-Toe Wedges, I ended up wearing this outfit to work.
