Thursday Moda #13 and Spring Bohemian Ethereal White.

Lucky 13! Today is the 13th week I have been running Thursday Moda and it has been going quite well so far, growing its members each week. I have Vivian with me on the blog today. I am continuing the Spring Bohemian week but in honor of Memorial Day weekend, both of our outfits have a lot of red, white and blue, too. In case you missed them, so far, for the Spring Bohemian week I styled an Elephant Dress, a Black Bell-Sleeve Romper and a Babydoll Blue Romper. Today I am styling a Gauze Maxi Dress. Which outfit is your favorite so far?

A Gauze material is perfectly breezy and says Bohemian, for Spring and Summer. And there is nothing more fresh, easy-to-wear and keeps-you-cool than a Gauze Maxi. Even better if said maxi dress is in white. I am calling this my "Casual and Ethereal White-Out Look" because the white maxi dress paired with the easy open cardigan gives you that Greek Goddess Bohemian feeling. What makes this Maxi Dress even more Boho is the gold embroidery on the front by the chest. And that gold is perfect to pair with my Oatmeal/Gold/Cream Cardigan. The entire look is very monochrome yet the pops of red and blue (which are also a subtle way to dress over the Memorial Day weekend) are perfect for some color. The two dainty gold necklaces from my latest Rocksbox (the bar necklace and the lariat necklace) bring out the gold on the neckline and the color of the cardigan. Both necklaces are perfectly layered with the bolder necklace which was the Pendant Blue Stone one also from Rocksbox. I am glad this month, the Rocksbox stylist sent in all three necklaces in one package because I was able to layer all three, effortlessly. There are some more shades of turquoise and aqua in a couple of other pieces of jewelry too, while my Drop  Earrings are in a gold-tone with champagne stones. And of course the Red Ghilly Ballet Flats - in my opinion the best shoe style to convey a Bohemian look - match the Red Ruched Patent Leather Clutch. My outfit is mostly in white (with pops of red and bright blue) while Vivian's outfit is mostly in navy and red with pops of white (and some pink) courtesy of her Disney Sneakers. We are a coordinated mother+daughter pair and can head to a BBQ wearing these exact outfits, as long as the temperatures are not higher than 70. Am I right? With over 120 entries linked up last week, coming up with a top 5 was harder than ever. Ultimately with the end of Spring soon and the scorching temperatures this week, I was drawn to some bright looks. As you can notice a couple of the ladies mixed a strong, bright color with a muted neutral. I also liked a few dresses and it is funny because blue dresses attracted me a lot last week. What can I say, blue is my second favorite color after red. Also, I noticed when putting the collage together, that nude/tan wedges are the thing to have this Spring. Good thing I own a pair.

She mentions that it is her favorite Midi Dress for Spring and Summer and I agree. It fits her like a glove. Pairing it with Silver Pumps was a great idea. She looked beautiful. Tiffany's 'Must Have Skirt for Summer' is this Neon Pink Lace number she got for a steal. I love it so much with the perfectly-matching necklace and paired with navy.

No doubt Cherie is 'Instantly Stylish'. Not everyone can wear an Utility Olive Jumpsuit but she does so beautifully. I love the Olive Green paired with the Bright Orange.

Rachel celebrated her birthday in a 'Baby Blue Dress' The eyelet material is the IT fabric for this Summer. Love that her wedges and bag match perfectly.
