Thursday Moda #41: LBD for the Holidays.

Welcome to another week of fashion and lots of gorgeous Holiday Outfits (that I am sure all of you will link up).

Today I am joined by my blogging friend LEE from Wine & Couture and we are both styling Little Black Dresses for the Holidays. Lee is not a stranger to Thursday Moda. Today, she is my co-host for the third time and Lee has also been featured a few times when she has linked up, because her style is on fire. She recently did a "Behind the Scenes" post which I enjoyed. If you haven't 'met' Lee yet, stop by her blog today. Plus she looks luxe in her classic LBD sheath styled simply with that gorgeous fur wrap around the neck and I am loving Lee's curly ombre hair, lately. Well, great minds think alike because we both styled our dresses with fun+fancy bow shoes (hers are on the side, mine on the back) and crimson lips because a red lip is perfect for the holiday season! We are even (both) posing my evergreen Christmas trees.

I mentioned on my last "Currently" post how important an LBD is for the holiday season especially since red is one of this season's colors. Coincidentally my LBD from three years ago was also paired with sandals that had bows on the back! I didn't realize that until I posted this. Wear an LBD and pair it with a pop of red (or three) for example red shoes, a red purse and/or red lipstick and the red will pop! I decided for just a pop of red with a Trusted Red Lipstick and add some Velvety Jewel Tones: a Wine-Hued Mini Clutch and some Midnight Blue Bow-Tie Block Sandals. I recently ordered both the clutch and shoes from the current collection of "Who What Wear" online. I love the shoes even better in person, but I expected the clutch to be a little larger and the color looks more between a fuchsia and magenta online (it is quite darker in person). The clutch is adorable but it is very small, however since it is a box style, it still fits necessities for a night out like a glam holiday party. This is an outfit I'd wear for the company's party, from work. My Gorgeous New Crystal Bracelet is from Banana Republic and it makes a huge statement. The necklace is a statement piece too but not too bold or chunky, therefore my earrings are tiny studs made up of 3 mini stones: cubic zirconia and pearls. The necklace and earrings were at my latest Rocksbox. Last, I added a Tuxedo-Style Leatherette Bow to my hair. Are you going to any fancy holiday parties, this December? Will you choose a Little Black Dress?

When I chose my favorites today from last week's linkup, I believed all of the chosen looks make great Holiday Outfits. There are also 3 new faces on my favorites who have never been featured before here on Thursday Moda, so welcome them!
Today's Featured Blogger is SARAH from Foxy's Domestic Side who linked up the perfect blue dress fancied up with a chunky pearl necklace, red lipstick, neutral pumps and her beautiful braided bun. I think this dress is what I consider the most perfect shade of blue which to me is between Royal Blue and Navy and I just love the elegant, feminine scoop-low back. Sarah's blog mixes a lot of things but on Wednesdays she focuses on style. She is mom to both a boy and a girl (who is adorable). You will find many things on her blog but I especially adore all her different hair styles and hair tutorials like this multiple-braided look today - so fancy and feminine. Sarah is part of The Blended Blog - a group of women who also have a fun themed linkup every Wednesday.

For a 'First Holiday Look' Rosie goes edgy and lacy with her unique peek-a-boo merlot maxi paired with fun heels.
Arielle shot this outfit pictures at 'Studio Bell' which is a magnificent building. I seriously love her neutral classic trench on top of the gray mini dress and paired with nude OTK boots.
Lisa's 'Fall Neutral Outfit' features must-have skinny olive pants and must have camel booties but it is her cable-knit cream sweater I love the most.
Amber tries a 'Lariat Choker Necklace' tied into a bow, with her Winter layers. The red flippy skirt and fur vest bring holiday touches.
Jill pairs 'Olive + Burgundy' with a jewel-toned statement necklace. Love and want her sweater dress.

This week's Fabulous "Thursday Moda" Co-Host: Wine & Couture.
Lee is looking good in casual layers this season.
From Lee's Mouth:
"Hi, I'm Lee from Wine & Couture.  This is my third collaboration with Ada!  She is just an amazing woman with great style.  Wine & Couture is a Life and Style Blog I started 5 years ago.  I love to share outfit idea's, recipes, and product information.  Sharing with my readers about my life and style is a fun outlet for me.  As an Accountant I have a very analytical job which leaves no room for a creative outlet.  Clothing is a fun way to be creative and get out of your comfort zone.  I share styles and trends I like, while keeping a classic wardrobe.  I believe in investing in pieces while leaving room in my budget for inexpensive trendy pieces.  I hope you stop by and read my blog.  Social Media - TwitterFB, and IG."

Now join the linkup and make some new friends!
