Embroidered Chambray Dress and Cognac Gladiators.
Good afternoon you all. So you know I mentioned yesterday about the Mommy+Daughter Dates and quality time I love to spend with my 3.5 year old Vivian. Today we both woke up late (since I am off work) and we cuddled in bed for half an hour or so, then we got dressed, ate breakfast, I watched some TV while I gave her a 'present' I purchased for her yesterday at Target: a new coloring book with crayons. My girl loves to color. You will see the coloring book and more when I do my "$10 Budget at Target" post, this month. Anyhow, I am finally getting around to post today and I still have a few outfits from August and September when it was still very warm and sunny out, like this lovely Bohemian-like Chambray Dress. I have purchased this dress and other Chambray Dresses, Rompers and Jumpsuits earlier this Summer, most of mine came from Target or Old Navy and I love them all. I only have worn a few of them and most haven't gotten photographed, sorry. My sister-in-law purchased the dark version of this same dress from my OOTD today (also seen on yesterday's post where she wore it when we went shopping at Great Lakes Crossing - she is the one carrying the Express shopping bags in her hand).
Speaking of Mother+Daughter Dates this outfit was worn exactly to that, from this past August. I took Vivian out for breakfast and then we went for pedicures and a manicure for her - her first ever mani/pedi and she loved it. She loves colors, girly stuff and makeup and she loves when I paint her nails so of course she would like it. BTW, that day I put Vivian in her own Chambray Dress from Old Navy but she got tired after our long day and didn't want photos though I wish we had taken some. I wore these Cognac Gladiator Sandals that day to have my toes open and free for my pedicure. Since it was hot out, I kept my jewelry simple: simple Dangly Earrings, a Little Bracelet and a Fun Pave Ring. I was having a real good hair day though. Ohh and I loved how this Light Chambray Dress pairs with Cognac. Blue Denim and Chambray go so well with Cognac and/or Camel Leather Accessories and I cannot to take this same dress into Fall and style it with more Cognac Leather, what do you think? You might still be able to find this dress in my light chambray option or the dark chambray like my sister-in-law's if you dig at the clearance racks at your local Old Navy.
