Thursday Moda #14 and Little White Dresses (with Our Princesses).
Welcome June! You will be one hot and stylish, feminine and fun month filled with Dresses only and I cannot wait to show you all of them!
Today we continue with another dress in a very special, fun and unique Thursday Moda. This is a Mommy+Mini Me or Mommy+Daughter style edition. I am joined by my Vivian today and two beautiful sweet ladies: Ruth and her daughter Amelia. So, yes, there are three co-hosts and every one of them is very sweet, pretty and stylish. Last Thursday for the first time ever Vivian joined me during Thursday Moda and she was my darling little co-host (so to speak). This week I have her with me again. It is fitting to have both Vivian who is 3 and Amelia who is 2 with me today, since (technically) the day I am typing this is June 1st and it is International Children's day. Many countries in the world celebrate June 1st, including Albania. Ruth and I are honored to have our mini me-s with us today as we style Little White Dresses - which I think it is the #1 Dress your closet needs this Summer!
As I mentioned, my co-host today is RUTH from My Little Nest. And once again this week's Thursday Moda is all about a Little White Dress. Ruth started linking her outfits with Thursday Moda a few weeks ago and I finally made it to her blog. I fell in love right away not just with her style but also with her blog appeal because she is a mom who features her sweet little girls Sophia and Amelia, often on her blog, too. Ruth has a girly but elegant style that is perfect for the every day mom. Nothing too fancy but never basic or boring. Plus we both love Target where we shop for ourselves and our girls. Today, we decided to style a LWD (Little White Dress). I smiled when I saw Ruth's photos because not only are our fresh, breezy dresses similar, we both wore very similar nude/tan wedges with our dresses and even our little girls are both wearing some pink and both Amelia's and Vivi's shoes have pink flowers on them. I think, by adding a Sleeveless Cardigan or Long Vest to her Strapless Dress, Ruth made this outfit work-appropriate if she wear to work in a business-casual office. I also love that she didn't go matchy-matchy with her accessories and chose a Black Bag but paired it with Tan/Cognac Wedges. Please stop by her blog today and follow her. She is a nice and kind lady too. And you will get to see more adorable photos of her and her daughter in today's outfits. It is funny, because some of the pictures with our toddler sweeties have very similar poses, like the one in the collage below.
Coincidentally, last week on Thursday Moda I styled another easy, breezy fresh White Dress but it was a Maxi. The first week's theme of my Dress month is Lace/Eyelet/Crochet and the dress I chose for today falls in that category. Continuing with my love for Target - it looks like I have purchased half of their store lately - I added this Off-Shoulder Eyelet+Crochet Poplin Dress to my closet very recently. I remembered that just a couple of weeks before, I had purchased a similar ruffled-top LWD for Sweet Vivian, also at my local Target. Well, obviously, once I purchased my own dress, I knew at some point, I would put Vivian in her own similar LWD on the same day as wearing mine. We wore these Dresses out and about when we dined at a restaurant the other night and both the waitress, the host and three other people complimented us and noticed our twinning dresses. By the way, our Summer Shoes and Vivian's Gorgeous Headband are from Target also. In head to toe Target looks, we would make Cute Mommy+Daughter Models for Target, no? Alert the media LOL.

It could be because of Children's Day or because I love a Mommy+Me look but today's selection of favorites from last week have things in common with today's post and outfit(s) and each other's looks: matching Mommy+Mini Me Dresses, a Mom of Girls, Off-Shoulder Mini Dress, Floral Print and Lace-up Shoes. Read on below for details.
This week's featured blogger is MARTA from Sweaters, Stripes and Sweets. She linked up this post where she styled a beautiful midi pleated skirt from day casual to work appropriate and she did that with a switch of a vest - from denim to a tailored linen one. She kept on the same white lace tank and the same pretty, orange block sandals. I love how she switched her fun sunglasses though. Marta does similar remixing posts from casual to work wear or from day to night, very often. She keeps her closet versatile with classic pieces as well as some boho styles. In her blog you will also find beauty posts, reviews, blogging tips - she just ended an awesome 6 week series filled with excellent tips for bloggers - and of course a few baking sweets and cookie recipes. Marta is a working mom of two young girls, who is based out of Toronto, Canada and I just love her blog so please start following her if you don't already.
Monica linked up a Bohemian Red Hot, Off-Shoulder Dress for which she gives you 'Save or Splurge' options.
A pair after my own heart, Sandy and her sweet toddler Vivian (hey, great name! LOL) are twinning in 'Floral Dresses and Flats'. They are both adorable.
Oh Jaime, 'Ice Cream Dreams' are made of Pretty Floral Dresses and the Most Gorgeous Wedges.
