Tan Button-Front Skirt and Mellow Yellow Sleeveless Sweater.
Happy Thursday You All. Such a late start for me today but I have had a very busy day thus far - keeping it real and posting whenever I can. I know sleeveless shirts (sleeveless sweaters nevertheless) and bare legs with sandals have no business in Michigan, in early November. But it has been 75 degrees here for a couple of hours in the last 3 days. So, I made the most of it, gave myself a pedicure, wore sandals for one last time and even went without sleeves.
I also shopped my closet for some more 70s trends. I found this Tan/Khaki Button-Front Skirt (from Old Navy). It is not the typical Suede or Faux Suede Skirt we are seeing a lot of lately in this color, mine is Denim and I love it (check out some options similar to my skirt, linked below, too). I would want to own one in this style in real suede (or faux suede) in Burnt Orange, though. Also, though I own 5 other Blue Denim Skirts (plus this one), I wouldn't mind a Button-Front, Fitted Midi Pencil Skirt in a Medium Wash Blue Denim. Maybe, sometime next Spring though. I am fine for now. This Tan Skirt paired so well with the Mellow Yellow Sleeveless Sweater and Fall-Colored Sandals. I cinched the waist with a Sturdy, Brown Leather Belt and carried a Tiny Coach Clutch, for a seamless overall look all made of colors that are next to each-other in the color wheel. What do you think? I ended up loving the outfit and the warm sunshine, too.
The Accessories:
Brown Canvas, Logo Wristlet Clutch: Coach (Gift from Mom) (similar current option in brown or black by Coach, great deal, love this), (2nd similar option by Coach, comes in 3 colors, best deal), (stunning croc-embossed maroon option by Coach, Splurge, my favorite).
Loop Thong Beaded Brown Sandals: Old Navy (similar w/ brown+turquoise beads, best deal, my favorite), (similar by Kohl's in tan w/ silver beads, great deal), (gorgeous option by Burberry, Splurge, love these).
Mellow Yellow, Fitted, Crew-Neck Sleeveless Sweater: Express (similar turtleneck option by Loewe, Splurge), (gorgeous cable-knit sleeveless turtleneck option by Alice+Olivia, great deal, love this), (similar in mustard w/ jewels by H&M, best deal, my favorite).
Tan/Camel Button-Front Denim Pencil Skirt: Old Navy (similar midi option in corduroy by Topshop, my favorite), (gorgeous faux suede midi option, Splurge, love this), (similar mini in faux leather, great deal, love this), (similar mini option by AE, best deal).
Brown, Sturdy, Thick Leather Belt w/ Gold-Tone Square Buckle: Gap (very similar, comes in 4 colors, Splurge), (similar by Target, best deal, love this), (gorgeous option by JJ Winters, on sale, my favorite).
