Flashback Friday (or Saturday Morning): Casual Thanksgiving Outfits.

First off, I want to start by saying that it is currently snowing. It is snowing tonight as I am typing this, and it will snow almost all day tomorrow - our first snow of the season. I see a white coating out there. I love snow (I will probably say I hate it once New Year's is over LOL). This first snow makes even more sense now that I started decorating for Christmas. On Wednesday I put up the first Christmas Tree (our smallest one) and a few Christmas decorations at home. I did decorate the fireplace and mantle area, too.

I showed you a Casual Thanksgiving Look the other day. Today I am looking back at a few outfits which would be great for a Casual Thanksgiving Dinner, also to run last-minute errands during the day/early afternoon, before the big turkey dinner with stuffing and all the trimmings. Most of these outfits were not worn for Thanksgiving but around that time of the year and more. I believe all of them would make great Casual Thanksgiving Outfits. Let's take a look down memory lane, shall we?

What a simple yet chic look, slightly dressed up yet pretty casual. I love this Soft, Light Pink Sweater. It has a Silk Panel on the upper back part. Dark Indigo, Ankle-Zipper Skinnies look more polished with this Light Pink Sweater and the Green Accents. I am wearing my Green/Teal Small Bubble Necklace (which I miss wearing), Kelly Green Pointy Leather Flats and (if you look at the original link) I also have on a Green+Red Floral Scarf and a Sweatshirt-material Olive Moto Jacket.

I, like most of us fashion bloggers, love Plaid. I am known to wear Plaid for Thanksgiving especially. And, for some reason I love Magentas and Purples for Thanksgiving too. They add a huge color splash and make the look more festive. Here I paired one of my Portofino by Express Shirts with a Navy Plaid Skirt and I even added this Magenta+Black Light Plaid Scarf for when I felt a little chilly.

Black Leggings are an MVP in my closet, but when paired with a Silver Lamb-Wool Tunic Sweater that has a Sequined Large Leaf (embellished) and a Gorgeous Reversible (Polka Dot) Brown/Tan Pashmina Shawl, this outfit screams Fall and says Casual Turkey Dinner. It is plenty casual yet looks polished. And those Ruched Camel Boots with studs match the scarf quite perfectly.

I have loved these Skinny Cargo Olive Pants - Olive Green is a favorite color of mine for Fall. For a pre-Thanksgiving Dinner at our home I paired them with my Pointy Kelly Green Leather Flats (again), a Matchy Ombre Green+Gold Bauble Necklace and a Boat-Neck Tan-Striped Sweater. I am even sitting by our Fall-decorated Fireplace.

Another Light Pink Sweater, one of the first few cardigans I have ever bought (about 15 years ago, but I still own it). This cardigan from The Limited is in a light silk blend. I layered it with a Light Coral Button-Down Shirt to polish this Jeans+Cardigan Look and also fancied up with a Statement Necklace and with some Bling on my fingers and my wrists. I am also wearing the Purple Suede Peep-Toe Wedges I recently wore with my Striped Cowl-neck Dress. Also, if you look at the original post I wore my Navy Puffer Vest - the first Puffer Vest I have bought and still own. Lots of old goodies here.

This might be my most favorite outfit from this bunch. It is casual yet it has elegant luxe touches with all the fur. I tucked in Blue Jeans into Brown Wedge Fur Boots, wore a Graphic-Patterned Bustier and layered with a Tan/Nude Faux Fur Shrug. I also wore some Silver Hoops and the Clutch I am carrying is casual enough and ties in the colors of the outfit.

Mixing Magenta and Fuchsia with these Indigo Skinny Jeans (again). I love the look of Navy+Fuchsia. They are not necessarily Fall Colors but they do add some oomph for Thanksgiving. This Casual Outfit looks a little dressier since I layered the Button-Down underneath a Tee, added a Statement Necklace and kept warm but poped a style element via this Wool Beret Beanie. And BTW I wore this exact plaid shirt for Thanksgiving last year, but in a slightly dressier outfit.

This is quite Dressy yet feels Casual. Champagne Color (with pops of Silver) for Thanksgiving?! Sure, why not. The Floral Skinny Pants and this Shimmery Sweater with embellished silver shoulders are meant to be together. I added some Fun, Fancy Silver Jewelry (Leaf Necklace and Matchy Earrings) and my Olive Oxford Booties and I felt comfortable, pretty and nicely dressed.

This monochromatic Black Outfit is perfect for Thanksgiving Dinner and so on trend for Fall-Winter 2015. This Tunic Poncho Sweater is comfortable, can hide food babies and it looks great, especially with these Faux Leather+Ponte Leggings. I just added some Pink+Silver via my Watch and Bracelet.

I definitely recommend pairing a Chambray Shirt with a Blanket Scarf and adding a Skirt to dress up the chambray+blanket scarf look, for Thanksgiving. This Orange Mini Ponte Skirt by Zara is definitely dressy enough and the bright color is wonderful for a Holiday event. Of course the Burberry Blanket Scarf matched it perfectly. And I am subtly mixing Polka Dots, Plaid and Paisley here. Keeping the look casual enough is good to wear Flats, like I did here with Oxford Shoes.

I have worn this for an early November gathering with friends (almost a Friends-giving) a couple of years ago. I had a baby who I was breast-feeding back then so comfort was key. This Sweater Vest is very on trend for 2015 still. I layered it with a Red Gingham Shirt for a little preppy look. I also added Indigo Blue Flare Jeans - also very on trend for 2015.

One last post with an outfit suited for Thanksgiving Dinner (and for work, prior that week), also one of my favorites outfits in this post, as an option to wear on Thanksgiving. A Sleeveless Jersey LBD gets layered up with a Red Buffalo Plaid Button-down and Camel Accessories. I love how the Camel/Brown Accessories are in three different shades from lightest to darkest. Also check out how I styled this dress  6 ways for late Autumn or Winter.

So which are your three favorite looks from above? Would you wear any of these for Thanksgiving?
Better yet, what do you have planned this weekend prior to Thanksgiving? Is it snowing over there?
My Firmoo Giveaway is going on and is still good until the end of the day on Thanksgiving, next week, so be sure to enter it.
Stay tuned for a great week of posts next week, starting with a Dressy option for Thanksgiving Dinner Outfit.
Thank you. =))
