Festive Plaid: Orange Plaid Blanket Scarf and Dotted Chambray.
I am sorry, I am posting really late today but I have had such a busy work day. Anyway, better late than never. Welcome to Day 2 of Festive Plaid Week. Today's Plaid item is my Orange, Plaid Blanket Scarf from Burberry.
Last time I wore my Plaid Scarf I mixed+matched with a Blazer in a similar color. This time I paired it with my White Polka Dot Chambray Shirt and my Matchy Orange, Mini Skirt from Zara. I did a 3-way pattern-mixing because my Tights (also from Zara) are in a Subtle Paisley Print. It works because the largest print is the Plaid, then the Polka Dots and the Paisley are a lot more Subtle. I added my Olive+Burgundy Oxfords which I thought matched the Colors of the Scarf quite well. And I accessorized with some Turquoise, Half-Moon Statement Earrings which are Crocheted/Hand-made and have an Oval Stone in the middle. How do you like how this Outfit came together?
Deep Blue, Long-Sleeve, Button-Down, Chambray Shirt: Meijer's (very similar), (similar by J.Crew, best deal, love this), (similar by Express in a light wash, love this).
Orange, Cream & Black Plaid, Blanket Scarf: Burberry (Gifted; New) (very similar by Burberry, Splurge), (gorgeous option by Nordstrom, great deal), (warm+cozy option by Michael Stars, love this), (similar by Chic Nova, best deal, love this).
Bright Orange Mini Skirt w/ Pockets: Zara (very similar by Topshop, best deal), (with a trumpet style skirt, great deal, love this), (similar, A-line option w/ pockets, Splurge).
Turquoise, Crochet, Half-Moon Statement Earrings w/ Oval Crystal Stone in the middle: Purchased from an Arts+Crafts Fair (New).
Black+Silver Beaded Bracelet w/ some Charms: White House Black Market (similar w/ Domo beads, on sale), (gorgeous option w/ hot pink tassel, best deal, love this), (similar option set of 3, great deal, love these).
Grayish-Lavender, Thick, Paisley-Print Tights: c/o Zara (similar by Wolford, Splurge), (similar by Anthropologie, love these), (fun option by Emilio Cavallini, best deal, love these).
Olive Green & Burgundy, Real Leather Oxford Shoes: Caterina Firenze (similar 3-color option, love these), (burgundy option by Rocket Dog, best deal, love these), (sneaker style by Keds, great deal, love these).
Coincidentally I have paired my Polka Dot Chambray with Plaid before (Look 1 below), and I have paired my Orange Skirt with Plaid before as well (Look 2 below).
P.S. Linking up with Alice, Bethany, Brooke, Carrie, Elle, Jenna Marie, Jalynn, Kimba, Lauren, Leanne, Liz, Morgan, Sarah, Victoria and Zaz.
And stay tuned for a Special 2 in 1 Post tomorrow. Thanks for reading and Happy Hump Day!!
