7: Polka Dots, Diamonds and Clovers.

I am realizing that in the first bunch of Outfits created in my second 30 for 30 remix challenge, I have done a lot of Pattern-mixing and utilized either my Red or Pewter Sandals a lot. Today is no exception. I wore my other Patterned Skirt that I included and my other Patterned Tee. From afar it looks like the Skirt is Black+White but it is Navy, White and Baby Blue. It has clovers that have squares inside of diamonds. It is in a cool geometric-print but it is seriously the tulip style and hi-lo hem that make this skirt even more fun and feminine. And since the Tee has Polka Dots I kept the rest of the ensemble simple wearing my Neutral Metallic Sandals and some Deep Red Lipstick. All I needed were my Pave Starfish Stud Earrings and I was done. I do apologize about looking much more red than usual but this Outfit was worn the first day after our first 3-day Beach Vacation so needless to say I got a lot of sun-burn lol. Do you like this Outfit pattern-mixing geometric shapes like circles, squares and diamonds? In a week worth of Outfits thus fur, today's outfit and the one featuring my Navy Silky Track Pants (here) are my favorite. Do you own a tulip-style skirt? How have you styled it? I found some cute options, linked below. Enjoy!
Black+White Polka Dot, Boat-Neck, Elbow-Sleeve Tee w/ Ruched Sleeves: White House Black Market (very similar, on sale), (similar w/ colorblocked sleeves, great deal, love this), (similar, orange w/ black dots, best deal, love this).

  6. Hey, Ada! Long time stalker, first time commenter (I think). I love this outfit to bits, especially since it sings to my pattern mixing soul and yet plays with the monochrome lover in me. I did want to extend my sincerest apologies for not being a regular here. For some reason, I thought I was following you on Bloglovin' but I guess not. No wonder I hadn't been receiving updates of your posts! Argh! Thank you for stopping by on my blog and reminding me that good bloggy friends are hard to find and I better not neglect the ones I've got.

P.S. Your floral skirt is to die for. Can't wait to see more iterations of outfits with it in play. Maybe once I finish 50 Dresses, I can do a 30x30 remix and use you for inspiration! :D
