Mom Wear to Work Wear: Black+White Geometric Shift.

Here it is (a month late) - my 4th edition of "Mom Wear to Work Wear". A few weeks ago I decided to show you a pair of Stylish and ever-so-versatile Black Shorts from a Daytime Dressy Look to an Evening Dressy Look, instead of a regular "Mom to Work" post. Then, last Monday, I wasn't able to get the "Mom Wear to Work Wear" post ready on time, but despite me not being able to post daily, you have seen many remix posts on my blog, this month, this being the latest. And here are some snippets from our Beach Mini Getaway, also. In an effort to wear clothes I have owned for a long time and especially clothes that have been neglected for quite long, I wore and remixed this Black+White Graphic Print two days in a row. I first wore the Work Look for an informal work interview with a recruiting agency and then the next day, I wore the Dress during the daytime, drinking coffee and running errands with Vivian besides me.
I remember wearing this Stretchy Silk Dress by Express last, the Summer of 2012 when I was pregnant. With its Classic Colors, Modern yet Retro Silhouette and Fun Graphic Print, it is about time I wore it again. It made a Great Work Dress for my Office then and it still does now. Despite being Silk, it is easy to wash by hand, so it's OK to wear it more casually, also. For the Mom Look I added a pop of Yellow which is a Color I love paired with Black+White. My Bow Patent Leather Belt with a Yellow Plastic Bangle in addition to a Cream Bangle and my Black Pave Studs are what I choose to accessorize with. And for the Mom Daytime Look I wore my Flat Black Sandals. For the Work Look I kept the same Pave Studs matched by a Black Beaded Bracelet and added a Long, Silver-tone Teardrop Necklace. I carried my Gold Leather Hobo Bag and wore my Lace Bow Black Pumps. Which look do you prefer? Do you own a Black+White Dress in a Graphic or Geometric Print? Linked below are some great options of Beautiful Graphic B+W Dresses, similar to mine.

And, speaking of remixes, on September 1st I will show you my first outfit of my second challenge of the 30 for 30 closet remix (Summer edition). Stay tuned and Thanks for reading. =)
Neon Yellow, Patent Leather, Skinny Bow Belt: A Local Accessories Boutique (New) (very similar, great deal, love this).
Square Mustard Lucite Bangle: "I Love Shopping Boutique" (New) (yellow option, on sale, love this).
Tory-Burch "Look-Alike", Black Thong Sandals: Il Cammino (the real deal in black, love these), (navy Tory Burch sandals), (cute, black woven option, love these).

Red Lips:
Tomorrow's Trend Spin Link Up with Erin and Laura is all about Makeup and Hair. I am not a guru at either, but if I have one Makeup tip to give which has proven to serve me right each time is: "when in doubt, just wear some red lipstick". If I could leave the house without any makeup on and just choose one product, lipstick or lipgloss is what I'd choose and most likely a crimson shade of lipstick. Seriously, some red lipstick is all you need and you are suddenly 'done' and will look ten times better. Plus Red Lipstick looks great on any skin color and goes with everything. It is a Classic.
Silver Chain Long Necklace w/ Teardrop, Black-Beaded Pendant: White House Black Market (WHBM this year's version, excellent deal + a great cause), (similar, best deal), (similar, great deal).
Black + Silver, Beaded, Stretchy Bracelet: White House Black Market (black beaded option w/ tassel, best deal), (similar, love this), (Swarovski option, great deal).
Gold, Real Leather Hobo Bag w/ Quilted detail on the Front: Elliot Lucca (New) (very similar, great deal), (similar EL, white Summer option), (gorgeous MK option).

P.S. Linking up with Carly, Cha Cha, Elena, Janise, Jen, Laura, Lauren, Paige and Rhea.
