Mellow Yellow Shorts and Kimono Floral Blouse.
Since this week was all about Budget Outfits and Summer Trends, and also since ANDI from Just Another Smith is doing an entire week of shorts starting tomorrow, I am bringing this Simple but Colorful Shorts Outfit for you this Sunday. And yes this Outfit was under 75 bucks (top = $16.00, shorts = $18.00, sandals = $17.00 and earrings/bracelets = $23.00 which makes it a whopping $72.00 Outfit!) And yes, in a way I am incorporating a Summer Trend also: the Floral Kimono. Mine isn't the typical Kimono though. It is not the open Cardigan Style. It is a Blouse type but it most definitely has Kimono Sleeves and I shopped my closet, since this H&M gem is from a few years ago. I paired it with my Girly Yellow Shorts and the same Orange Flower Sandals that I wore on Monday when I started the Budget Week. The flowers on the Sandals go with the floral top nicely and it brings out the little orange pops from the top, also. Due to a really hot day all I could handle was some Dangly Earrings and once again a little barrette to keep my hair from being crazy during the humidity.
My Gorgeous Girl is wearing a New Baby Pink+White Outfit. She turned 18 months yesterday on July 19th. Crazy how she is already one and a half years old and learning new things daily. She probably has gained a couple of inches too since April when we last measured her, since she can now reach into higher places. Hope you like our Outfits. Try out a Light Pastel Floral Top with some Solid Pastel or Bright Colored Shorts. You might like the results. =)
