Preppy Nautical and Stylish Tuesday.
Welcome to Stylish Tuesday!! This Tuesday I am co-hosting with the Beautiful Paige of Life is a PARTY DRESS Like It. I seriously love the name of her blog. Join us today and make sure you follow both Paige and I via Bloglovin and/or GFC (follow buttons, provided below). Then hop around and make some new friends. =) Thank you for being here!!
First of all, I apologize about the photos, I tried taking different ones at different times of the day and my camera was not doing such a good job. How much I want a Nikon but gosh darn it why do they have to be so expensive? Continuing with the Nautical-themed week, I finally wore my Anchor Chambray yesterday and paired it with some Bright Green Shorts and matching Pointy Flats, since we had a pretty warm day. I added a multi-colored plastic Beaded Necklace that I purchased last Spring. It is mostly Pink+Green and those Colors remind me of Lilly Pulitzer and her Beautiful Preppy, Girly Clothes. Plus, Blue+Green are Preppy, as well as Nautical, that is why I am calling this Outfit Preppy Nautical because it is very much so. Don't you think? You ladies enjoy this Spring Tuesday and Stay Stylish!!

Loving the blue and green - nautical is always nice! P x
ReplyDeleteI, too, love Blue+Green, Porcelina. =)
DeleteYour green shorts are cute!
ReplyDeleteI always forget that shorts can be a seasonal transition piece also if you pair them with a long-sleeved top. I do this a lot with skirts but never with shorts. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteYes, shorts are perfect to transition between cool and warm, especially thicker ones or Bermuda length. You are welcome and I am happy to inspire you Whitney. =)
DeleteSo excited that shorts season is finally here! You look very cute in these shorts

Deleteglad you are having warmer weather. We have been getting a good amount of rain.
ReplyDeleteHa Amy, we got jinxed. The weather turned upside down today, cold and very very rainy. It will be like this for the rest of the week. =( Boo.
DeleteLove your preppy nautical! Great colors and the long sleeve chambray with the shorts makes it a perfect spring transition outfit!

Thanks so much Jill. This is nice for Spring when it isn't too hot yet. If it got warmer I could totally roll up the sleeves.
DeleteThese green shorts look great, Ada! :)

Thanks so much Beautiful Paige for the compliments on the outfit and the opportunity on letting me co-host. You are the sweetest. Love the photo you chose of your BF and yourself, too. I too love Green+Blue together. =)
DeleteI like the colors, also that this look screams Ralph Lauren preppy is cute. Glad to see you co hosting today Ada. Rachel
ReplyDeleteYes, you are right about the Ralph Lauren reference and that is such a huge compliment. Thanks a ton. =)

DeleteAda you look so adorable! I love this look on you. Chambray is so fun. Happy you co-hosted. I'll link up when I get home. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are always so nice and kind to me. The photos are awful and don't the outfit justice because it really is one of my favorite outfits this year. Thanks so much. =)
DeleteP.S. Keep drinking a mojito or a daiquiri for me, OK?
Love, love your anchor printed button down paired with green shorts and flats! So cute and looks so comfy. Unfortunately, I opted out of Stylish Tuesday for this week because I´m wearing wide leg pants. My outfit´s so out of the theme this week. hahaha!
ReplyDeletehttp://dressingupforme.blogspot.com/
Actually, Stylish Tuesday doesn't have a theme. Andi's+Laura's Link up this week is about Nautical. So I'd love for you to join Paige and I for Stylish Tuesday!! Your comments always make my day, too. Thanks so much. =)
DeleteI love your name, really classy! Thanks for visiting my website. I have a thing about bright colours, I love them, so much so I created a business out of them!. So I love your bright green shorts. I live in UK so there's not much call to wear shorts but I would certainly wear green jeans! I am following you on bloglovin. I will leave my link but obviously no pressure at all.

I have always loved the look of a long sleeve shirt with shorts and your chambray shirt makes the look really fab! I too have been wanting (and saving for) a Nikon, and plan to eventually own one. I hope you get your wish to have one too! ~Ann

I like the long sleeves with shorts! It's hard to find the right weather for that type of outfit! Thanks for linking up this week!
