Neutrals, Ruffles and Polka Dots.

I became very behind with Outfit Posts since my computer was not functioning for a long time back in February, March and into early April. Therefore today you get 2 outfits. =) I am kicking off this week in a very fashionable way, I guess.

Some interesting facts about the pieces of this outfit. I love this ivory (more like an ecru) blazer. I love the rounded collar and the front-tab real pockets, such cute details. I actually own several khaki/beige/ivory blazers and this one might be my favorite. As a matter of fact I am wearing this blazer, today (over a dress). I also own a ton of fun, favorite tops, blouses and shells from The Limited. Their tops always have such cute detailing. This is no exception. The high collar-neck is framed beautifully by ruffles that cascade down, on the sides of the buttons, up front. A modern, girly & fresh twist on a classic button-down blouse. The pants are awesome dressy pants by Express. Express (one of my most favorite stores) is very well-known for their Editor Pants and I own several "Editor" ones. The fun part about this pair is that the pocket lining and the lining surrounding the butt & thigh area is in a fun leopard print, in a silky material. =) And last but not least, I got a cute, simple, neutral, classic and very functional brown belt (that can work for pants or to layer over a cardigan, for example) for a great deal as it was the belt that came with a skirt. The total price of skirt with (removable) belt was $7.90. And the skirt is even prettier. SCORE!!
