Girly Black+White Striped Skirt and Knotted Graphic Tee.
I have had yet another very busy week around here and the high temperatures, lack of sleep and not having much appetite have made me more tired and caused me migraines almost daily. It sucks. Anyway, let's move on to this Outfit that was worn a few weeks ago but I am just getting around to posting it on the blog. That's life!
Today's Outfit was worn on a Sunday lunch date with my husband and Vivian. Since this week our Spring Must Haves was all about Skirts, I decided to show you another Favorite Spring/Summer Skirt of mine. Since this Skirt is pretty High-Waisted and still long enough (just above the knee) I wanted to try the Knotted T-Shirt look with it and attempt the Cropped Top Trend once again. Of course, as a Mom you have to be careful with such a trend but I asked my Husband if it looked good and he gave me his approval. He actually quite liked it. I have also lost a few pounds here in the last couple of months, so though I will never have a 6-pack, just a tiny sliver of stomach just once in a blue moon, is OK. Between the Striped Skirt and the Gold on the T-Shirt, this ended up being a little Nautical, as well. I matched the Gold Ballet Flats to the T-Shirt and yes that is another pair of Ballet Flats with (tiny) Bows on them. Coincidentally, last time I wore this Skirt I also tried a Cropped Top with it and last time I wore this T-Shirt I also paired it with Black+White Stripes. When it works - it works, I guess. Have you worn a Graphic Tee with a Girly, Pleated Skirt before? Do you like it knotted? Let me know.
There will be more Skirts and a Wardrobe Remix on Monday's Post. Stay tuned and as always Thank You for reading. =)

The gold shoes are perfect with this skirt!
ReplyDeleteI love monochrome striped skirts - I am an absolute slave to them - but I've never thought of pairing them with a casual shirt! I will certainly consider that when I next style my usual head-to-toe monochrome look. :)
