The Sunday Showcase, December 2021: Silver Belles.
Happy December!! Happy Holiday Season!! I couldn't get my shit together to post the last couple of weeks but here I am hoping to post a few cute Holiday Looks and my Anual Christmas Home Tour this month. Starting it off with my monthly collaboration post with my dear friend MIREILLE of Chez Mireille. Here is a new Sunday Showcase you all and since it is December, we had to keep the holiday spirit in mind, so Mireille came up with "Silver Belles" and we ran with it!!
SILVER BELLES.
I loved this theme and my recent dressy outfit I wore on Thursday of this week as in 4 days ago (the 2nd of December) was perfect to showcase my idea of a Silver Belle: a festive holiday look featuring plaid, fun dotted tights, a pastel kind of green and my newest, black faux leather boots. Where does the silver come from one would ask?! My skirt, the shimmer of my sweater, my customized necklace with all of my family members's names and a hint of silver comes from my eyeshadow too. I figured one doesn't have to wear full-on silver to capture the beauty of the holiday season in this metallic, festive hue. Most of everything I am wearing is current and can be shopped in my post (on the widget on the bottom), plus all of the pieces are on sale, too: boots, tights, skirt and sweater. My purse, sunglasses, necklace and earrings I am linking very similar items. I love both backgrounds where we shot these photos on a day where Vivian was off from school and my friend JENNIFER from Curated by Jennifer and I had coffee (and bobba tea for Vivian). It was also nice enough to shoot outside without a coat, 50 degrees - though very windy and in the shade that wind made it feel like 30. But it was a nice day nevertheless and as always with Jennifer, there was a lot of laughter. She had on a cute outfit, too.
How freaking incredible are Mireille's red pants?! The huge ruffles that create that awesome flared hem?! LOVE!! Definitely nothing I have ever seen before and to be honest nothing I think I could pull off but she can and she looks awesome. I loved that she thought outside the box with her silver cowl-neck sweater and that snakeskin mini clutch - my gift to her last Christmas season!
This is such a cute holiday outfit, Ada. I love the minty green on you and the ruffled neckline is so fun. Your skirt and boots are super adorable, too!

ReplyDeleteYou look absolutely stunning and these photos are fantastic, probably my favorite post EVER! The two photos right after the caption Silver Bells are just so naturally beautiful. Life as a mom of two is really working for you. The outfit is lovely and I appreciate how it's perfect for the holiday season but also can be worn throughout winter multiple times. Also, loving those tights. Have a great rest of the week!

How clever of you to pair ruffles and gingham together and create this uniquely festive look.
