Thursday Moda #266: Flowers and More Flowers.

Besides wearing dresses - lots of them - one of the things I love a lot about the period between April and August is all the blooms and flowers I see everywhere and you will see lots of them in today's post. The blooming pinkish mauve tree for one is stunning. Anyone can tell me what kind of flowers those are?! I love them. And they match my floral+paisley mauve midi dress perfectly.

FLOWERS  AND  MORE  FLOWERS.
Don't you love it when the dress or the outfit you are wearing totally matches the background you are in?! This is the case with this dress. All the pinks, lilacs and mauves in it match that stunning, blooming mauve pink flower tree - where I have posed by several times. This dress has thin spaghetti straps (which you can't see) and the entire chest area is smocked. While I love the loose, flirty empire waist style of it, the chest area runs pretty tight, especially if you are booby like me. You can currently shop for this dress at Loft and it's on sale, too. I paired it with a burgundy Rebecca Minkoff crossbody saddle bag that brings out the burgundy and maroon colors of the dress. There is some blues in the dress too so that light blue wash denim jacket from Revolve (I have had for many years) was a great idea to top this dress with, since it was a little chilly. Vivian wore her own blue denim jacket over her pastel tie dye dress. Oh and speaking of flowers, I got a beautiful burnt orange suede flower on the back of my denim jacket too, embellished with beads and sequins. I told you this post has flowers and more flowers in it, but the biggest and best flower of them all is my daughter Vivian. Who wouldn't agree?!

Vivian took all the pictures of the flowers you see in this post and she did a great job. You have seen the pretty city of Northville several times before, on my blog. The downtown is so pretty and we visit often come Spring and Summer. There were so many flower beds decorating the city and we loved them!
