Thursday MODA #259: Mommy+Me Mother's Day Looks.

It is hard to believe Mother's Day is just a few days away. WHEW! Time flies! In honor of Mother's Day I have a matching mommy+me outfit post today and a co-host. I am joined by my friend CHRISTINE of Bon Chic Style and her lovely 12-year old daughter. But in today's post there will actually be 3 moms and daughters: Christine and her daughter, my first cousin Lorena and her daughter Noela and of course Vivian and I. I do apologize about today's photos, they are not the best. Our outfit pics are from last year and these were taken using my old phone.

They are the cutest!! Vivian was so excited to give her cousin Noela her birthday present.

I always love twinning, mixing and matching with Vivian, even more so for Mother's Day. I was supposed to take new outfit photos with her yesterday and we were going to wear our new identical dresses but the weather was 50 at its highest and it was too cold to wear sleeveless dresses. I promise you will see those outfits soon, though. Pulled these looks from the archives and they are perfect for today's post because not only are Vivian and I coordinated in our pretty floral dresses but my cousin and her lovely daughter Noela made an appearance in their cute looks too. I am in love with my floral pleated dress - a Nordstrom Rack find - and Vivian's even more gorgeous floral dress with the petticoat, which is from Von Maur. The colors of those roses are so vibrant, it looks adorable with her frilly pink socks and those cherry sandals. I truly want Vivian's dress on my size. As far as my dress, I paired it with my favorite soft leather gold sandals, a couple of silver bangles, red claw stud earrings and my magenta crossbody bag. What do you think of our looks today?! I like when Christine dresses up but I love when she dresses down. This outfit is effortless chic while being totally casual. Those chambray loose pants are awesome. This whole look is a VIBE!!

I love that Christine found identical comfy chambray joggers for her daughter and herself and such cute white matching tops. They look so cute holding hands too. I hope at 12, Vivian will still want to match with mommy every now and then lol. Check out her post today for more details.
