Your Thorns Will Bloom - Poetry.
I haven't written or published a poetry in here in quite some time. So here you get a little "feel good poem" in real time. I am writing it and typing it out for the first time, here, on the blog post. I love the title of it, it is very meaningful and even though the title is only mentioned on the very last verse of this poetry, it is a metaphor for the entire poem. Take a read and enjoy it!!
YOUR THORNS WILL BLOOM - Poetry.
[Wednesday, 8.15 P.M. September 16th 2020.]
It is always said and done
in this world we are one,
different colors, different paths,
different patterns, different fights,
though the journey is different and tough,
it is important how we make it through and survive!
We love till our hearts hurt,
we make mistakes, we forgive, we forget,
we all get sick and we get sad,
we all have blood inside us, we bleed the same,
we fall down and we stand up,
we fall to pieces and pick ourselves up!
We are not one and the same,
but if we let things get to us, we are to blame,
life is not just black and white,
life is colorful, go take flight,
let things be, let things go,
you cannot control everything, go with the flow!
Love like you have never loved before,
even if you loose at the end, fall in love more,
mistakes - don't turn them in regrets,
learn and move from them with gratitude and grace,
as you fall down remember to get back up in full,
at the end of the day your thorns will bloom!
