Inside the Marrow of Our Bones - Poetry.

A very intense title for a poem, wouldn't you say?! But "Inside the Marrow of Our Bones" is the title of a love poem and love my friends can be very intense, in the best ways possible and in the worst ways possible, too. Wouldn't you say so?! Even more so if it is a second love, a third love, a second marriage perhaps?! Just like the person who rises up from a failed relationship that ruined him or her in some ways, or from a failed marriage that broke their wings and cause them tears for days, weeks, months, ...a new love can rise up too! A new love can be planted inside that broken heart once again and start blooming, healing, blossoming and forgiving! A new love that doesn't make anyone entitled, neither does it make any of the two partners indebted. But it rather makes them feel grateful, blessed and happy, purely happy and joyful... INSIDE  THE  MARROW  OF  OUR  BONES.
[9.30 P.M. Eastern Time, June 30th 2020.]

We grow and we glow
as we fall in love,
we crush and we crash
into courses of lifetimes...

One door closed, another one opened,
a sun set down, a new one rose,
yesterday was a full moon,
today the moon is half a slice...

We learnt from our mistakes
and some we let go,
some we rather forget
and some we rather not know...

Sometimes the past follows us
with each footstep we take,
sometimes the future grabs our hand
(so tightly),
...of the unknown we are afraid...

But just like that we learn to stand tall,
be a bright yellow pineapple in a field of green pears,
find that twinkle of love
the twinkle in our eyes that was missing before...

And with that twinkle we fell for each other,
we fell into love, we fell hardcore,
through the veins of our blood,
inside the marrow of our bones...

We kissed full of passion,
we made love like no one did before us,
we raged through heartbeats
that were running fast inside our chests...

We cuddled and we caressed
with pink lips that once trembled,
we cupped each-other's arms
and the world around us suddenly felt safe...

Inside the marrow of our bones
I felt you, I heard you, you shook me...
Inside the marrow of our bones
I touched you, you touched me,
I loved you, you loved me...!
