Thursday Moda #159: Spring Blouse and an Afternoon with Vivian.

Happy First Day of Spring from my little Vivian and I. Our first day of Spring was a little cool and we had some rain. But these Springy Showers will bloom all the flowers later, at least we hope! My daughter and I are both blogging today showing you two outfits we wore recently, last week to be exact, featuring a Sophisticated Spring Blouse for me and an Adorable Girl Power Minnie Dress for her. Read on below for the details.

SPRING  BLOUSE.
When the weather starts changing and it is that transitional type of weather in the 40s, 50s and sometimes 60s, I usually choose to wear one my blouses than for a sweater. I usually reach for one of my many Spring Blouses. I have a lot of them with long sleeves, like the one today. A light blouse in a silky, soft poplin cotton or chiffon material is feminine and pretty. I own a lot of blouses from Loft like this new-ish one which is in a Henley Style. I got a couple more similar ones from Loft like this Henley Spring Blouse. This one is a little thicker material and textured. I love the puffy sleeves and the smocking around the neckline. I also love this gorgeous Pastel Baby Blue Color that it comes in. Perfect for Spring and to pair with any color since it is so soft and practically a neutral. Loft currently has two very similar Baby Blue Henley Blouses like mine, like this split-neck one with gorgeous frou-frou bell sleeves or this almost identical to mine and they are both on sale too. I also love this pussybow chambray one - stunning! I wore this outfit to work and later to spend an afternoon with Vivian and my parents. It paired so well with my Windowpane Paperbag-Waist Pants by H+M and since these wide-legged pants are long I always opt for some type of heel. I am wearing my Gray Wedge Oxford Booties by Target again. I must say this baby blue blouse pairs so well with these Fun Earrings with the Large Mint Bauble in the middle (by Target). I love all the earrings I have linked too. I want a pair of each, please! I reached for this pretty Spring Blouse twice last week since I also wore it for a casual dinner with Black Skinny Jeans, Black Booties and Colorful Cluster Earrings. I love it! Do you wear Long-Sleeve Spring Blouses this time of the year?!

 AND  AN  AFTERNOON  WITH  VIVIAN.
My fun late afternoon with Vivian continued with a visit at my first cousin Gloria's House. My sweet girl wanted to dress up a little bit, though her outfit is a little girly, her black-on-black outfit also is a little rocker-chic! I love that adorable "Girl Power" Minnie Dress with the Pleated Gold Skirt and her hair looked beautiful in a French Braid with that Large Lavender JoJo Bow which has a donut on it. Sweet Vivian carried a sparkly bag too. It is a Magenta Shimmery Bag shaped like a lama. Her Suede Boots are the cutest too. They have bows on the side. The boots and bag are by the Cat+Jack line at Target. She loved getting dressed up and a little fancy like she said to go out with mommy. Also, her poses kill me. She was copying Mary Poppins a little, she said lol.

Last week my linkup had so many great looks for Spring! How did I even narrow it down to 8?! Also, you loved my little poem last week on "Thursday Moda". Today, we got a lot of featured blondes, two ladies named Anna, two ladies sharing my mom's name - Stefanie - and even two outfits sharing the same identical Spring/Summer Bamboo Bag. Some looks were monochromatic and some were full of pattern and color. Maxis, Midis, Gorgeous Shoes, Salmon-Colored Cropped Pants and Sophisticated Blazers were all part of the favorite looks I featured. For more, see below.

This week's Featured Blogger is my Fabulous Mama Friend STEFANIE from Glamorous and Geeky whom I envy not just for her great Spring style sharing two gorgeous dresses and fun/fab footwear, but also for that super warm sunny weather. This mama of two lives in Florida after all. She shared three posts with me last week like the 4 Dollar H+M yellow dress which she paired with edgy and fun knee-high gladiator heeled sandals and nude woodsy accessories. I can't say I have tried pairing bright yellow with shades of nude and camel but I love it. However the spotted maxi dress paired with the leopard bag and those stunning heeled loafers is by far my most favorite outfit of all the outfits shared last week. Belting it with a Logo Gucci Belt was just the icing on the cake. Lovely Stephanie shares a lot of motherhood posts as well as other lifestyle posts. She has opened up about a lot of things and I always love how raw and genuine she is. You must check out her little lovely blog!

Lana is new to my linkup but she stunned in this salmon-colored 'Romantic Spring Date Night Outfit' which - as she mentioned - did impress me. I love a pair of pants with a belted-in waist that you can tie in a bow and I love that she kept her accessories neutral.
Anna Shirley wore a neutral look perfect for a business casual office during Springtime and shared her 'Sunshine Blogger Award' which was lovely to read.
Claire Justine is in a 'Maxi Dress for Spring'. I absolutely loved the simple and whimsical floral print and those adorable little red ballet flats were a perfect addition to this outfit.
Debbie is always the queen of layering, pattern-mixing and not being afraid to throw in a few different textures too. Her 'Velvet Blazer and Graphic Tee' with the black lace camisole peeking from underneath is lovely and unique.
Anna in that bright shade of banana mixed 'Something Old and Something New' looking fabulously elegant in her slip of a yellow skirt and classic double-breasted blazer.
We started with a Stephanie and we end with a Stefanie who explains about 'The New Rules of Pattern Mixing' by mixing the same kind of print - zebra - in two different scales and colors. Stefanie is street chic perfection and those magenta pom slippers match her gorgeous sweater to a T!

  20. Thank you for the shout, Ada, it feels really nice to be appreciated. Love your blouse very much. It very feminine but the extra long sleeve make it look edgy. I am sure it looks great with black skinny jeans but it looks very pretty pared with these eas fit pants. Your daughter looks so adorable in this outfit.
