Skirting the Rules: Leopard Skirt paired with Red, Denim and Burgundy.
Hi guys. I am alive. I don't have a lot of photos for you today. Our weather has been cold, plus I was so sick for almost a week and didn't want to risk taking photos out. But I have a very cute outfit for you today, nevertheless, featuring a Pencil Skirt - since it is the last Tuesday of the month and my friend ELSIE from Polished Whimsy and myself are doing our monthly Skirt-themed linkup. So let's look at today's look, shall we?!
Inlinkz Link Party
I am still in Winter mode over here with my layered Wintery Skirt Look featuring this Gorgeous Leopard Print Pencil Skirt by White House Black Market. My Stylish Friend Elsie shared her Lavender-Silver Pleated Midi Skirt paired with matching pumps and clutch. Love her cute patterned sweater, though.
There are only 6 elements to this outfit and you cannot even really see one of them: the necklace. I am wearing a Red, Bauble Statement Necklace over my Red Tissue-Thin Turtleneck. The other four pieces I paired in this look are my Leopard Pencil Skirt, the Medium-Wash Blue Denim Jacket (from H+M), the Burgundy Semi-Opaque Tights and the Colorblocked Burgundy+Olive Oxford Flats. It ended up being a polished office look that is put-together yet elegant, slightly edgy also, but the addition of the denim jacket makes it a little casual too. I have always loved red with leopard but adding burgundy to this makes it better. This skirt also is super flattering, the black band on the waist highlights the tiniest part of my waist and I love it. I also love how elegant and perfectly-matched the burgundy tights look with these burgundy+green oxford shoes that are 100% leather. I loved how this work style turned out, what do you think?! Do you own a leopard skirt, a leopard pencil skirt?! How do you style it for work?! Let me know.
