Thursday Moda #133: Mommy+Daughter in Casual Pink Skirts.

Another day, another Mommy+Me post. Today our outfits are super casual yet cute and put-together. We are both wearing Casual Pink Skirts. I have gone out, gone to lunch, coffee dates, out and about, visited different cities + down-towns, shopped and ran errands a lot with Vivian this Summer, as several of my posts from May until now have indicated as well. I have at least another 6-7 similar posts like this to share and hope to do so before October is over. With that said, I apologize for not being so active this September. I cannot believe it is Sept 19th already. Where has this month gone?! With Vivian starting school and getting used to a new schedule and sleeping schedule for both of us, I have had a hard time keeping up with the blog. I have at least two dozens outfits from Summer not blogged. I have been pretty silent on commenting (especially the last couple of weeks) and I have only linked my posts about 50% of the time the last month. I hope starting next week that will change. With that said, I am planning a post for Friday this week and hopefully I can do an outfit post Sunday thru Thursday next week.

MOMMY+DAUGHTER  CASUAL  PINK  SKIRTS.
You may remember that all July I wore and featured skirts here on my dear old blog. Well, these outfits are from mid June - as this was one of the outfits I planned to blog during July (lol) but here we are 3 months later. Our Casual Pink Skirts' Outfits are very relevant for this week of September however,  because since last Saturday, our temps have been between late 70s to mid 80s. As a matter of fact Vivian has worn skirts every day to school, this week. And I have worn a couple of my newer skirts this week too, this week. This is a weekend day where we had brunch, shopped a little bit and went to the playground too. I decided to go matchy-matchy by wearing my Blush Pink A-Line Eyelet Skirt from Loft with a Blush Pink Ribbed Lace-Front Tank Top by Aeropostale. Both were clearance steals from earlier this Summer. I am wearing Comfortable Polka Dot Flip-Flops but I did dress up this outfit with a couple of Cuff Bracelets and Matching Blush Pink Feather Earrings by Loft. Vivian has had her Poodle-Print Hot Pink Skirt from The Children's Place since last Summer and I love that cute little skirt. She pattern-mixed with an Off-White Floral Tee by Old Navy and also wore her own Flip Flop Sandals and my cute adorable girly girl who loves accessories is even wearing a Little Pink Necklace. But my most favorite accessory of Vivian's is her Gorgeous Hot Pink Chiffon and Rainbow Grossgrain Ribbon Oversized Bow. Since June was LGBT Awareness month, I made sure she wore that bow a lot that month. =)

All ooohhs and awwws on my post from last week. Thank you all so much. You all love our matchy-matchy "Dotty Over Fuchsia Dresses". Last week, there were around 80 outfits linked and I noticed a lot of cute transitional looks, early Fall looks and nice+chic work outfits, as you will notice from my favorites too. Lots of you linked dresses and skirts and I saw a lot of floral. Also, no surprise here that I was attracted to fashions and items from some of my favorite stores like Old Navy, Target and Loft. And I didn't notice until later that there were not one but two pretty snake-print skirts. I also loved how some of the posts that were linked featured several outfits.

This week's featured blogger is my fellow Eastern European Friend BOJANA from Bo's Bodacious Blog who is not a stranger to this feature or to my blog as I have co-hosted Thursday Moda with her twice, before too. The post she linked actually features 6 or 7 outfits, all super cute work-chic looks and very affordable too, since most of the pieces are from Old Navy. I in particular loved the three outfits above for all the layering and pretty Fall colors, too. Trapeze dresses and button front skirts, corduroy and ponchos - I am all in. Plus I love shades of Bourdeaux and Herringbone especially for Fall. Bojana's work style is always pretty and achievable. She is a mom to two young daughters and super nice too. Not only do I love her blog but her Instagram as well. Plus she leaves me the kindest comments on Instagram.

Probably the most featured person on Thursday Moda is the beautiful Katie, this time stunning in this 'Stripes with a Twist of Lemon'. No wonder I am loving this dress from Target, I have been eyeing it myself. Those sandals and lemon slice bag though...
Emma has convinced me to add a 'Snake Print Skirt' to my closet. She wore it with all blag and a huge splash of orange-red via that magnificent coat.
Lisa's smile and chicness are beaming! Her 'Faux Wrap Dress for Easy Transitioning' featuring all the red and grayish-blues is beautiful and a steal for 25 bucks. Tar-jay you all!
Another blogger in a muted snake-print skirt. Mixing her 'Animal Print' with neutrals and gorgeous maroon shoes, Jess' sophisticated style is perfect for easy Fall Office looks.
Petite Kileen featured a post with some of her recent purchases from Loft, featuring three 'Wear-to-Work Outfits' with pretty floral tops. I loved this one the most as it also gave me an idea how to style this ivory pencil skirt which I also own and I love the thick texture of the skirt.
