Thursday Moda #127: Little White Dresses for Summer.

Hello ladies and Happy Thursday Moda Day! It is my favorite day of the week because I get to see what ALL OF YOU are wearing! And you get to do the same. LOL Today, after a long and very busy blog-posting month of skirts (the #skirtmasinjuly fashion challenge that I did), I am back with a co-host and back at wearing a dress. As you all know I love dresses. =) My Co-Host today is the Lovely BOJANA of Bo's Bodacious Blog, who like me originates from Eastern Europe (Serbia, to be exact). We are also around the same age and both are mom girls. Today, the two of us are styling White Dresses for Summer - because no matter what stores and fashion sites or fashion magazines tell you, we still have more than a month of Summer left. So wear those white dresses, I know I haven't worn them a lot this Summer but I am changing that!

A  LITTLE  WHITE  DRESS  FOR  SUMMER  (WITH  A  TWIST).
I recently picked this Beautiful Linen-Blend Little White Dress at Target, from their A New Day line (here + currently on clearance) and I am so happy with not only the style and material of the dress but also how well-made and pretty it is. The flutter sleeves with adjustable strings, the flattering fit+flare style of it, the perfect length. But wait, it gets better because this is a Little White Dress with a Twist since it has Black Polka Dots (I have always wanted one). But even better because those dots are graphic dots, they sort of look like dalmations. I must say my Super Light Ivory and Black Frilly Pom Pom Earrings (new by Talbot's) match the dress perfectly. But I wanted to add some color pops so I went for that Bright, Bold Orange Bag, Magenta Matte Lipgloss and some color on my ankle via that Anchor Charm Red Beaded Anklet. The Black Faux Leather Perforated Booties edge up the femininity and sweet girl appeal of this Dotted White Dress. These Black Peep-Toe Booties are the perfect juxtaposition for the dress, don't you think?! Do you like how I styled this outfit that I wore (this Tuesday evening) to work and later on for a coffee and a quick sandwich dinner with my daughter?!

I love that Bojana's Little White Dress has all that long fringed hem. The lace overlay is fresh and modern and her ivory sandals couldn't have matched better. Also, the beach location of her photos is simply stunning! Make sure you follow Bo today for a true life-style blogger who is super stylish as you can tell, but also friendly, funny and kind. She leaves me the best comments on Instagram. And join her monthly life-style "Continental Drift" Linkup, also.

These photos were taken in Northville, MI. Most were taken by the Marquis Theatre in Down-Town Northville and some were taken close to "The Little Paris Cafe". I hope you have been enjoying all the different Michigan locations the last few weeks. Summertime is all about being outdoors a lot and enjoying my beautiful Mitten State! I promise I will shoot more fun outdoor photos for upcoming posts.

Last week the linkup was light, I guess due to Summer, some of you being on vacation and most of us being extremely busy. I know myself I haven't been able to link daily for the past couple of months. It takes a lot of time and effort. But you ladies still managed to show me so many cute outfits. The featured looks are so different, yet I love the bags and shoes these beauties are sharing and all of the head gear! I spotted a couple of sexy and edgy looks, too. Love!! As a matter of fact, I have featured all the 5 ladies below several times before. I consider them not only stylish, fashionable and inspirational, but definitely my blogging friends, too.
This week's featured blogger is my friend KRISTIN from Countdown to Friday, a gorgeous brunette who recently moved back to the States from Germany. Both outfits she linked are gorgeous though in different color spectrums: black and white. The black maxi dress is something I would wear right away, even style it with a floppy hat and espadrille wedges like she did. I actually own a very similar black floral maxi and similar sun hat. But the second All White Look featuring crisp white shorts is simply adorable, so modern and fresh. Her little intricate knitted mini bag and knotted headband are the cutest. As always Kristin shines in red lipstick too. If you don't know her blog, please get to know her. You will be amazed not only by her adorable outfits but all the gorgeous places she has visited and some beautiful backgrounds. I love her Insta Stories too which I watch daily. Also, Kristin just recently found a job in Richmond Virginia where she is living so please congratulate her!

'A Golden Maxi Dress for Summer' and if you are, tall, lean and have gorgeous red hair like Jess, it's seriously all you need to look great. But I do love her sandals and clutch too.
Sheela shows off 'The Girls' in a sexy strapless black bra and the most beautiful purple blazer with 80s vibes. Her slashed denim and colorblocked purple/black/white booties are equally edgy and shockful of style!
You can be over 50 and show off a sliver of tummy. Just ask Nancy who is rocking her 'Cropped Top' that looks like mermaid skin. Her combination of red and hot pink is beautiful, feminine and saucy.
Rachel always shines in neutrals. But her bohemian top featuring 'Bell Sleeves' couldn't match her patterned clutch any better. That is monochromatic nude done right!

This week's Thursday Moda Co-Host: Bo's Bodacious Blog.
This office-working mama looks so put-together dressed down or dressed up as you can see in the collage below featuring some of my favorite Summer outfits she has blogged. Also, I love that she has remixed that beautiful straw tote and blush pink fringe mules.
From Bo's Mouth:
"Hi everyone.  It's Bojana from bosbodaciousblog.  Today I am styling my favorite white dress to take us  from summery evenings to cozy fall nights.  Just one little thing I wanted to mention, not a big deal or anything, but I am originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina."

  19. This dress is absolutely perfect and once again I wish we had a Target. I love the polkadots, so in right now, but it's actually the fit and flare and the fluttery sleeves that really catch my eye. Thanks so much for asking me to co-host and being such a champion of not just me but so so many women. I truly don't know how you get it all done. 😘

  21. What a cute little polka dot dress, perfect for warm weather! I went on a real polka dot kick at the start of the year, I had so few polka dot pieces in my wardrobe, now I have quite a few, haha! It's a fun print, and I like the red bag for a pop of colour with the dress :)

Hope that you had a great weekend! We had a nice and relaxing one here, which was lovely.
