Thursday Moda #108: Little Red Dress for Hospital Gala.

Happy Thursday to everyone! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen on my stories a week and a half ago, that I posted the Little Red Dress I am wearing today and a Little Black Dress as my two options to wear to a Fundraiser Gala+Dinner event at a local hospital here in Michigan, that I was invited to, fortunately. The dress code for this beautiful event was "cocktail wear". I did a poll on my Insta stories in regards to my two dresses and this little red dress won by a major number (like 80%) in comparison to the black one - though I am itching to wear the LBD soon and style it for Spring. The thing is, I too was leaning towards this Little Red Dress myself. It is silky, flowy, elegant, feminine and beautiful. I love the double-tiered flutter sleeves, the perfect right-above-the-knee length and the sash belt tied into a bow. Right?!

LITTLE  RED  DRESS  FOR  A  GALA.
You guys know how I feel about red and God knows I own a ton of red dresses. This one from Loft I have only worn one time before (casually) for Winter with a coat over it. I decided to wear this LRD with a Matchy-Matchy Coral Python Clutch (I love the skinny bow) by White House Black Market, a Sparkly Silver Crystal Necklace also by Loft and some Vintage (they are at least 3 decades old) Black Enamel Pave Clip-On Earrings (borrowed from my mom). I also added a few bracelets and rings and decided not to go for a matching red lipstick but a dark mauve one instead. Last but not least my Nude Suede Pumps with  3-inch heels made this look smooth, elegant and seamless head to toe, plus they were comfy for me to stand on for 5-6 hours. And don't let the little strips of snow fool you. It was warm for us, up to like 54 degrees that day.

Last week you absolutely loved my edgy yet feminine All-Black Outfit featuring that Gorgeous Sheer Flower-Embroidered Top. Thank you all so much! There were about 90 looks linked, most of which were totally Springy - as my chosen favorites this week show, too. All the pretty florals I have featured today can certainly be worn this Easter! Love them all.

Today's Featured Blogger is actually from two weeks ago, but due to lack of time I didn't do a Thursday Moda favorites roundup last week (though I totally meant to). This week's Featured Blogger on Thursday Moda is LAURA from I Do deClaire who is no stranger to my Thursday Moda favorites and this is actually the third time in two years I have done this linkup, that she has been my Featured Blogger and you can see why. Laura became a mom for the second time a few months ago and looks THIS GOOD!! I love both outfits she linked - both are perfect for Spring and I see similarities with the pink rose print on a deep blue background. She linked this Stunning Trapeze Floral Dress which needs to get in my closet ASAP (makes a great Easter dress too) and a Cute Floral Top paired with White Skinnies which is such a chic, semi-dressy great date night look for either daytime or evening. I couldn't help but notice both pretty pairs of colored pumps she wore with each outfit and gorgeous statement earrings each time. But she totally stole the show with her amazing hair because it looks divine in both posts. Laura has been my blogging friend for about 5 years now and her oldest daughter Claire is only 4 weeks younger than Vivian, too. She is a great life+style blogger and her outfits are always so chic and fun! Plus I have collaborated with dear Laura many times in the years we have both been blogging together.

Nailil is feeling the 'Spring Fever '18' in this girly, casual, flirty look featuring a floaty kimono. I just love her nude bag and sandals that will go well with every outfit.
If you know Shannon, you would know that 'Boho Flow' is her name. How cute is her breezy babydoll dress and I am in love with the fringe leather accessories.
Di wore 'Menswear and Pinstripes' in a classy and feminine way. Love that culotte jumpsuit and the teal shirt underneath it was perfect, as were the leopard pumps for subtle pattern-mixing.
Ruth showed us 'How to Wear a Pajama Top Out of the House' and she did it the right way by edging it up with her black skinnies and modern black mules. Love red on Ruth.
Lizzie - the girliest girl of them all - blogged 'The Most Feminine Spring Outfit' featuring the color of the year and pretty floral embroidery in that stunning midi dress. Her accessories as usual are perfect, too.
