5 for Friday: Loft's best 5 items for Fall 2017 (all 50% OFF).

Today, I am starting this 5 for Friday series which I will probably do every other weekend or so. I love posts like these because I like lists (LOL) but I also like to know the latest things fellow bloggers are rooting for, buying, doing, etc. Each of these "5 for Friday" posts will be a different theme, from accessories, bags, clothes, deals, events, fun things, home decor, kid styles, memories, shoes and much more. Since one of my most favorite brands - LOFT - is having their big Friends and Family sale right now where everything, including sale items are 50% OFF, today's 5 for Friday is the best, my most suggested 5 items from Loft that you should add to your Fall wardrobe. But make no mistake my number one suggestion from Loft would be the Long Chenille Cardigan I have been wearing a few times a week this October during my Common Threads remix challenge. I was lucky enough to purchase this cardigan and I am so glad I got both the ochre/dark mustard color and the dusty rose color. But unfortunately my cardigan has been sold out for a while. However, I found you an awesome sleeveless cardigan and a beautiful wrap cardigan too (I own both). The best part about all these 5 pieces is that they would be great to transition into Winter as well. And all 5 pieces are great for the holiday season, too.

The  Sleeveless  Coatigan.

This gorgeous sleeveless cardigan comes in 4 or 5 colors that are mostly neutrals as well as this beautiful rich shade of burgundy for Fall and Winter. I already own the ivory-greyish version of this sleeveless coatigan and I wore it earlier this week (you might have seen it on my Instagram stories). I will blog that outfit on my next post. This sleeveless long sweater vest is warm, thick, cozy and long enough to wear as a coat instead of a full long-sleeve coat and it is shaped loose so you can layer with a blouse, a sweater or both a blouse and another top underneath it. It does run a little big like most things at Loft do and I could totally do an XS, but I stuck with the small because I figured it would be more versatile. Plus with the removable belt, you can cinch it to make it tighter or have it more open and loose. I give it 5 stars. It is awesome!

Dark Green / Navy  Plaid  Bell-sleeve  Shirtdress

If you know me, you know I love dresses and shirtdresses are one of my most favorite style of dresses. I love a good plaid shirtdress for Fall and Winter. The best thing about this one is the popover style so the buttons are not across the whole front and of course those cute 3/4-length bell sleeves. I also love that it is in hunter green and navy. That dark green would be great for Christmas. Imagine this with some Dark Green or Red Hunter Boots and some Burgundy Statement Earrings - Christmas outfit or Christmas pictures, anyone?! I need this dress in my closet.

Icy  Pink  Kimono  Wrap  Cardigan

Isn't this wrap cardigan so cute, classic, flattering and versatile?! The length is perfect for leggings, skinny jeans, pixie pants and skinny dress pants, but you can wear this over a dress or with a pencil skirt for the office, too. It comes in a few colors and I purchased the taupe (between a beige and grey color). I have yet to wear it but I think I will style it with my Khaki/Oatmeal Cargo Skirt (also by Loft) first. This sweater is lighter than the sleeveless coatigan but super soft still and such a classic and classy piece. This icy pink color that I linked is so feminine and pretty and we all know the light pink shades of the millennium are gorgeous. This would be perfect to wear currently for Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, too.

Navy   Faux  Suede  Grommet  Wrap  Skirt

The wrap style skirt is so IN from the last 2 years or so and I can see why: it is so chic, modern and elegant. Nowadays a wrap skirt is as popular as the wrap dress (made famous by Diane von Furstenberg), the wrap tee, the wrap blouse, the wrap cardigan and the wrap athleisure top. A wrap skirt is versatile and unique to dress up or dress down but in general I'd describe it as a dressy piece. It is perfect for an office job, or if you are a teacher. This particular skirt is stunning because of the sueded texture and that beautiful, modern and trendy large grommet detail, on the front. I can totally see this beautiful skirt with the Hunter Green Floral Blouse (the 5th item below). The navy and dark green pair perfectly together and for the holidays these two pieces would make a great semi-dressy look. Add some leopard, red or nude pumps and the others would envy your outfit. I am wish-listing this one.

Hunter  Green  Petite  Floral  Garden  Blouse

I love blouses that combine prints and this blouse is perfection when it comes to combining patterns because of the placement of the two different patterned materials, and because the small-scale garden floral print and polka dots look so effortless together and almost as one pattern. I love the subtle little ruffle on the sides of the buttons of the blouse, the popover style and the ruffled peplum sleeves. Also, there is a sliver of a larger-scale floral pattern across the neckline which is once again placed at the right area. I do own this blouse and I wore it the other day with my white skinny jeans. It is the cutest blouse that would layer beautifully under sweaters, cardigans, vests, blazers, jackets and ponchos. It is one of those blouses that can be totally casual or totally dressed up.

By the way, this sale at LOFT goes on until Sunday October 22nd at midnight and you can use the code "FRIENDS" when you check out to get the 50% OFF discount for your entire purchase. Happy Shopping!
