Thursday Moda #71: 4th of July Girls.

Hi. These photos are actually taken 2 days ago and these are the outfits we wore for 4th of July. As you see we kept it casual and in my case very casual. To tell you the truth, I thought about changing the outfit for the evening but I said "F... it!". The truth is, our evening plans were just as casual and laidback as our daytime plans. We went to see fireworks by the lake, we hopped on a boat for a little ride and also ate some yummy fro-yo (Vivian picked the pink and the green flavors lol which thankfully are some of our favorites too since the pink was strawberry and the green was pistachio). The outfit I chose consists of a few old pieces and some pieces from last year.

My Red Tank Top is old and was purchased several years ago in Toronto from the 'Jacob' store. Funny thing is the straps on the back end in these gorgeous chiffon bows and we all know how stylish and trendy bows are these days, especially on tops. The Chambray Shorts and Red Sandals were purchased on sale at the end of Summer last year. The Matte Pale Pink Sunnies are a few years old. The Red Watch, White Enamel Hoops and Royal Blue Pave Fireball Charm Dainty Necklace are a few years old too. While that Canvas Tote Bag was purchased some weeks ago at Target's dollar spot for either 3 or 5 bucks. I love that it adds to the nautical feel of my Red+White+Blue Look since it is an off-white color with the turquoise wavy sea, the two mermaids and the rope handles.

Vivian's outfit is also a combination of old and new. Her "American Cutie" Patriotic Minnie Mousse Dress is brand-new, her Aqua-Blue Sandals were purchased at the end of Summer last year as was that Sparkly Silver Star Headband and the Pale Blue Rosette Leather Bag has been in my closet for over a decade.

Vivian's Outfit:
Aqua + Pink Flip Flop Sandals: Carter's.
Americana Stars+Minnies, Navy+Red Dress: Kohl's (New).
Baby Blue Real Leather Rosette Mini Bag: Payless (Old).
Silver Sparkly 3D Headband w/ Laser Stars: Cat+Jack via Target.

Real Life: Vivian throwing a 30-second tantrum because the sun was in her eyes lol.
Vivian snapped these 3 selfies on her own, even-though the large DSLR camera she was holding was about one quarter of her weight lol. I loved how these selfies turned out. She has a future as a blogger and Instagram influencer, no?!

I knew last week's linkup wouldn't be short of so many cute red+white+blue looks, as some of my favorite picks for this week, also show. I got two blondes and two brunettes for you, all wearing dresses and all looking amazing. Of course I am attracted to all the fancy pretty dresses, nothing new here.
Kathrine faked a LBD in 3 gorgeous new pieces by 'Les Lunes'. The ruching, the lace, the sexy back - it is all in the details.
Jaymie wears her 'Chambray Stars' with American Pride. Loved the white crispin drop earrings here.
Andrea is a woman after my own red heart in a 'Poppy Pretty' dress with a darling shoulder bow, all styled nicely with cork accessories.
Tiffany's 'One Shoulder Ruffle Dress Under $30' besides being a huge steal, is totally gorgeous and 100% my style. Love how she styled it with the equally girly+beautiful pink heels.

I hope you like our simple red, white and blue outfits today. Now I want to see you link up your own patriotic looks or what you wore for 4th of July! Thank you for stopping by!
