How to Wear a Tank-Style Jumpsuit to Work (Look 5).
A few weeks ago for my birthday and with a couple of gift cards, I did a little shopping at Loft - my favorite store, currently - and while I tried and picked up mostly dresses and tops, I did try this Apron-Style Striped Jumpsuit. I tried it on the small but it was too big on me, so I ordered an XS. I loved it on me when I received it. It is in a thick linen material and the culotte leg makes it work-appropriate. I decided to include it in my capsule pieces, even. Today, I am continuing with my French-Inspired Outfits like yesterday and this time I am doing an office-ready look because that is exactly what I wore my jumpsuit to - work. Today I am showing you how to style a tank-style or spaghetti-strap jumpsuit to work. One word - layering.
Parissiene style is modern, minimalist and clean - exactly like the lines of this jumpsuit which is currently on sale at Loft plus an additional 50% off. You will notice (once I post all of my capsule pieces) that I included a lot of white and sky blue or powder blue pieces and I am so glad I did. I decided to layer a cute and Feminine Lace Baby Blue Tee underneath the jumpsuit and added a Powder Blue Light Blazer over it. I love the bow-tie detail on the sleeves of this Lauren Conrad Blazer. This way this is polished, elegant and office-ready while still bold, modern and fun. The stripes, simplicity and colorless overall look add to that classic French appeal. Baby blue and white pair so well together, I cannot help but wear them this season. Keeping up with the classic style of a French woman, I chose simple black accessories, like a Faux Python Bag (vintage) and Black Block Heel, Ankle-Strap Sandals. I chose classic Oversized Tortoise Sunnies and Nude Lipstick. But I kept it modern and trendy with some Fun Baby Blue+White Stone Statetement Earrings which have long navy tassels. So how do you like the styling of this Tank-Style Striped Jumpsuit for the office?! It is a great substitute or a Pantsuit, right?!

Ada, I really love the jumpsuit on you! So flattering and the little lace tee is the perfect accompaniment. I see how one could dress it in different ways. I love your strappy sandals with it adding more height with the cullote style. So Pretty!
