Weekend Wants: Old Navy's Spring 2017 Collection.

I was mentioning on my last post about how many stores and brands are losing for good, especially brick+mortar stores. But one store/brand that is going strong and has been the last 4-5 years or so is Old Navy. It is not the Old Navy it used to be let's say 20 years ago, when I came for the first time in America as a teen and all I saw there was khakis, jeans, white, navy, heather grey and black t-shirts. Old Navy is staying on top literally and figuratively (since it is on top of the current trends). Their merchandise moves quickly and they are always stocking/adding new pieces. They have improved their kid game too. Now mommies can buy dresses, tops, shorts, jeans, leggings and whatnot and have their mini girls or boys match them. And when Old Navy strikes gold on a pattern, especially a pretty floral, they make it in a variety of clothing: 2-3 different style dresses, a blouse, a cami, a pair of Pixie pants, sometimes even in shorts or skirts and matching ones for your baby, toddler or child. I think their sister stores Gap - also strong on the mommy+mini game with their adorable styles for tots - and Banana Republic which is my favorite, are doing very well, too.

I haven't stepped foot into Old Navy in at least two months if not more, but man I am loving so many of their clothes. They have pretty florals so popular for Spring, blue+white striped tops and dresses which are so IN this season, off-shoulder and cold-shoulder styles, amazing shorts as usual, many ruffles all over, lots of colorful and patterned crops, embroidery and lots of denim+chambray pieces. They are staying true to their name and using navy a lot this season. Navy solids as well as Navy Stripes and Navy Florals are all over their stores this season. And their sweatshirts guys, they are adorable and super chic. You have seen me style two of their sweatshirts from this year, lately: 1 and 2. Even their accessories are adorable. I can always count on Old Navy for their scarves and belts. But this season you can find some cute sandals too (even beautiful pumps) and they have trendy custom jewelry at the store, too. Below are some of my favorites from their current Spring season. Wish all of these appeared in my closet, magically. Have you shopped at Old Navy lately?! What do you like from there?
