Thursday Moda #58: Blush Pink, Floral and Camo.

Welcome to another Thursday Moda. I got another floral look for you today and more blush pink (like last Thursday Moda). Ground-breaking I know?! LOL Anyhow, before I get to the outfit please forgive the quality of the photos and my hair looking messy though I had just brushed it. That is because we have had a combination of lots of rain and strong winds here in MI, in the last couple of weeks.

This is a look I put together for work on a Friday. I have combined olive green with blush pink before and I like it together as a color duo. Though my shirt is more like a mauve type of blush. It is long enough to put over leggings and these leggings are thick enough for two reasons: 1) they are not see-through at all and 2) they kept me quite warm. Since I was at work - and my office is pretty casual by the way - I added a Floral Blazer over my Mauve Blouse and I love how it turned out because the blazer is like an ivory/off white but the flowers on it look like brush strokes creating a watercolor effect. I put on these Black Pumps with Tortoise Heels mixing three patterns together: tortoise, camouflage and floral. Though these are three completely different patterns - and to tell you the truth I had never combined the three before - they work because there are solid colors on the outfit too and each pattern is far enough from the other. A statement outfit like this needs just a Pretty Statement Necklace (mine is with bold blush and white stones + small crystal pave stones around them) and a Shimmery Golden-Coral Lipgloss. Hope you liked how this turned out. I think this outfit can be fun and different to wear to church for Easter Sunday, also, don't you think?!

Off White/Ivory Round-Collared Blazer w/ Watercolor Orange Flowers: c/o Patrice Boutique (New) (similar cropped option, Steal), (multi-colored option, Great Deal, love this), (similar w/ peplum hem, Splurge, my Favorite), (gorgeous embroidered option, Splurge, love this).
Mauve/Blush Pink Chiffon Button-Down Blouse w/ Hidden Buttons: Mossimo via Target (New) (identical, comes in many colors, Steal), (similar w/ bell sleeves, Great Deal, love this), (similar in satin, on Huge Sale).
Blush+Ivory "Perla" Statement Necklace w/ Large Stones: Perry Street via Rocksbox (New) (gorgeous flower option, Fantastic Deal, love this), (dainty ombre option, Great Deal, my Favorite), (beautiful chandelier option, Splurge, love this).
Pale Nude/Glowing Gold Soft Shimmer Lipgloss: 'NAKED' by Urban Decay in "Walk of Shame" (identical, love it!), (very similar), (similar, Splurge).
Black Faux Suede Almond-Toe Pumps w/ Tortoise Block Heels: Merona via Target (very similar in all black, Steal),(sexy peep-toe option, on Huge Sale, love these)  (very similar bootie option, on Sale, my Favorite).

Last week over 125 outfits were linked and I swear it gets harder for me each week to choose my favorites and even harder to select a Featured Blogger. From the 6 looks I have featured below, three of them I can see as options for Easter Sunday morning or an Easter Dinner with family and/or friends. The other three are more casual but still beautiful.
This week's Featured Blogger is BROOKE from Pumps and Pushups - an adorable petite mom of two very young boys whose style and blog I love. Last week she linked up this black+nude outfit featuring such a pretty floral halter top and the most stunning laser-cut tote. But just the previous week she linked up the most beautiful gingham dress which is such an unique sheath with an OTS style. As you can tell with both outfits, the lovely Brooke chose nude purses and nude shoes - both pairs are equally gorgeous. To tell you the truth over the last couple of months, I have loved every single outfit that Brooke has posted. She has featured pieces from some of my favorite stores like Loft, Banana and Francesca's. But Brooke is one of those moms that does it all. Her home style is gorgeous, her posts on motherhood are inspiring, her pushups and other training tips to keep fit are amazing. For more check out Brooke's blog and join her own weekly style linkup every Wednesday, too.

Rachel is one of those girls who can do no wrong fashion wise. Her 'Spring Stripes' brought together the sun, the sky, the sea and even cotton candy that warm Spring days are made of.
Another Rachael who is always polished and sophisticated, looks 1000% stunning and sexy in an unique hi-lo tuxedo dress from a boutique named 'LIT' topped with a crochet-trimmed cropped blazer.
Paulina shows the right way 'How to Wear Gingham at Work' choosing small black+white identical gingham print for both her cropped trousers and button-down. Love her sunnies.
Lydia's 'Little Black Dress' has statement sleeves that are all the rage these days. I love that she kept the rest of the look simple.

Last but not least, I wanted to let you know that I am looking for co-hosts for Thursday Moda. It is a great way to promote your blog, add readers, discover new bloggers you'll love and it is all FREE for you. Let me know if you are interested and we can e-mail one another.
