Thursday Moda #55: Spring Totes and Peep Toes.

Good morning you all. It is Thursday again - the most stylish day of the week, over here. Today, I am joined by the lovely JENNIE from A Pocketful of Polka Dots whose style is as lovely as her personality. We decided with Spring coming up, to style Spring Accessories, focusing exactly on Spring Totes and Peep Toes (or Peep-Toe Booties to be exact). I love how despite the many differences and completely different types of outfits Jennie and I are wearing, (it is funny when she e-mailed me the photos and happily smiled) both of our totes and peep-toe booties are in shades of camel and I loved that. I believe camel is great to wear year around and I think in between seasons like Winter and Spring with our bi-polar weather lately, camel leather is the way to go when it comes accessories. Make sure you check out Jennie's outfit too here because it is lovely - pretty dress in a great pattern!

Originally this post was supposed to go live last week but our horrible weather and a few other interruptions made us reprogram it for today. It is a good thing these photos were shot on a Friday the first week of March because despite being windy and it even drizzled during my photo-shoot, at least it was warm enough to wear my very open lace-up peep-toe booties. If they were taken this week for example, it would have been too cold for such an outfit with all our snow.

Well, Spring will be here in just a few short days and tomorrow is Saint Patrick's. What better time for me to wear lots of Green and style my New Gorgeous Bomber Jacket from my favorite brand from Target Who What Wear; if you have never purchased anything from this line, run - do not walk to your nearest Target. I absolutely loved this Daisy Print with the mostly green (and black) background and the gorgeous big white daisies popping through it. I also bought the blouse version of this print and wore it to work yesterday actually, so you will see it on the blog next week - promise. I am absolutely loving the pumps too. This is my second floral bomber jacket from Who What Wear. I'd say they run true to size. I like my jackets not super fitted so I got medium in both. I styled mine with the Moto Blue Jeans (last worn ) and a White Pussy-Bow Blouse (also from Who What Wear) that has that striking elegant black piping. Because I had just washed my hair and not dried it and it was rainy on and off that day, I added this Marled Green Beanie to keep me warm. I also love the sporty element the beanie adds. Every piece of this outfit comes from Target pretty much with the exception of my Spring Accessories. You may note that my Camel Tote in Vegan Leather is in a light green color inside (and it is reversible).

Though the lace-up booties are lighter and the tote is darker, these two shades of camel worked out great together. With Spring coming, I think a fun bright accent to your tote or purse is a great idea so add those colorful tassels, pom-poms and other bag charms like I did here. My bag charm is a trio of pom poms in green, purple and hot pink. So what do you think of how I styled my Spring Totes and Peep Toes today?! Are these accessories -- staples for your Spring closet?
White Chiffon Long-Sleeve Bow Blouse w/ Black Piping: Who What Wear via Target (identical, Steal), (similar, Great Deal), (similar w/ skinny black bow, on Sale, my Favorite), (similar, on Sale).
Medium Wash Moto-Style, Skinny Blue Jeans: Mossimo via Target (New) (quite similar, Great Deal, my Favorite), (similar, Huge Splurge, love these), (similar, Steal).
Silver Tone Black Oval "Elle" Statement Earrings: Kendra Scott via Rocksbox (New) (identical, on Sale), (similar, Steal), (similar, on Sale, love these).
Trio Colorful Mini Pom Pom Bag Charm: c/o Marc+Elle (similar, love this), (similar comes w/ black backpack bag, Great Deal, my Favorite).
Camel/Tan Faux Leather Ghilly Sandals w/ Block Heels: Charlotte Russe (similar, Huge Steal), (similar, Steal, love these), (similar, Great Deal), (similar, small Splurge, my Favorite).

Last week you loved my combination of camel with blue and bright yellow. Without even realizing it I also paired camel and blue with another bright color today - green - so I hope you like it just as much. You can tell I am looking forward to Spring since I was attracted to lots of reds, pinks and pretty prints (whether in tunics, bags, skirts or tees), last week. And I was in love with the athleisure look I chose as the look of the day, today. Enjoy!
Today's Featured Blogger is LAURA from I Do deClaire whose blog and style I have been loving for 3+ years now. Despite the fact that I loved Laura's Athleisure look head to toe, I was head over heels in love with those wine velvet sneakers with the wide sole. What I like about Athleisure looks like this one is that despite the super casual and sporty factor, they are still so put together and 100% chic. Beautiful Laura who is a school counselor, also has an adorable 4-year old daughter. Her blog has a little bit of everything but the main focus is her style. She is a beautiful girl with a great body who can pull off everything. If you don't know her yet check out her blog (with a brand-new beautiful design) and her own awesome style linkup "Confident Twosday", every Tuesday.

'The New Power Couple: Pink & Red' is indeed a lovely combo for Spring, and Mary does it effortlessly like always. Her top and pants are so on trend but her bag and shoes are stunning.
Cheryl gave herself a 'Free People Challenge' and she pulled off the easy, boho, Californian vibe of this popular brand, wonderfully. I want her tunic and mini messenger bag.
Kimberly shared 'Twenty Things' and a beautiful, feminine, pink ombre dress with bell sleeves, in her 30th birthday post, which was as special as her cute outfit.
Katie goes 'To Paris With Love' in the prettiest graphic tee paired with a fun coral denim jacket and a ladylike striped skirt which pays tribute to the French elegance, as well.

This Week's Thursday Moda Co-Host: A Pocketful of Polka Dots.
Beautiful Jennie has a style as fun, colorful and bold as her raven hair. She loves shoes and lately has been sharing some of her great collection of pumps as the collage shows. I also love all these outfits of hers (from the last few weeks) that I chose, below.
From Jennie's Mouth:
"Hey y’all, I’m Jennie and I am a 47 year old frugal fashionista! I am mom to two wonderful (and handsome!) sons and one very spoiled Pomeranian. After spending most of my life in black and boring clothes, I now enjoy trying new trends, am a confessed shoeaholic, believe life is too short for boring hair, and never met a polka dot I didn’t like. I am also an avid photographer, reader of Jane Austen, Paleo/Primal enthusiast, and lover of DIY. You can follow me here ∼ Bloglovin|FacebookInstagram|"
