Thursday Moda #51: Red Dresses for Women's Heart Disease.

Welcome to another Thursday Moda. Things have been romantic on Thursdays here: Rose Quartz Dress last week, Floral Dress with Lace Tee the previous week. Today, I am focusing of what are some of my favorites things to wear: Red Dresses. Or as I like to call them LRD - a Little Red Dress. Yes, yes I know Valentine's Day is over and to tell you the truth I wore this dress last Sunday for a mini Galentine brunch+mimosa type of gathering with 4 friends. But Red Dresses are not only perfect for all the Valentine day festivities, but you could and should wear them all February long since a Red Dress symbolizes the Women's Heart Disease. February is dedicated to raising awareness to Women's Heart Disease, which is what myself and my Fabulous Co-Host KRISTIN from Countdown to Friday are doing today on our linkup.

Kristin and I couldn't have picked more different red dresses. Hers is a classic sleeveless sheath which the way she styled it, would be perfect for a polished office. Mine is a little bohemian with the trapeze shape and the bell sleeves and it has a pink undertone to it. I would describe it as a Raspberry Red. Kristin is a returning co-host, originally from USA but blogging from Germany. Her every day style is elegant and polished while her weekend style is effortless and cool. Make sure you check out her blog and follow her - thanks.

My Sassy Chevron Fishnet Tights make this look (with the red dress) so flirty and a little sultry. I had never paired my Gorgeous Velvet Ankle-Wrap Navy Sandals with this Foldover Navy Clutch before, but I love how the textures of velvet and calf-hair mesh. I did a tone-on-tone look with my statement piece of a jewelry: the Red/Orange Stone Necklace (love how the stones are shaped like almonds) and I added Fun Unique Filigree Earrings by Kendra Scott (both of these pieces arrived in my last Rocksbox as did the Aqua Hexagon Ring). I also added an Orangy-Red Lipstick by Estee Lauder and my Silver Mesh Bow Headband. Have you worn a Red Dress (or three) this month and how have you styled it?!

Raspberry Red Bell-Sleeve Bohemian Laceup Dress w/ Mini Pom-Poms on the Sleeves' Hem: Xhilaration via Target (New) (similar w/ short sleeves, Huge Steal), (similar,Great Deal), (flirty option w/ double bells, on Huge Sale, my Favorite), (similar bohemian option, Splurge, love this).
Gold-Tone Filigree "Sadie" Spear Earrings: Kendra Scott via Rocksbox (New) (very similar option by Kendra), (similar, Steal, love these), (similar fancy option by Kendra, Small Splurge, my Favorite).
Orange-Red Stone "Sylvia" Statement Necklace in Paradise Red: Loren Hope via Rocksbox (New) (similar in red+pink, Steal, my Favorite), (similar, Great Deal, love this), (identical in clear stones, Splurge).
Black Silk Skinny Headband, w/ Sparkly+Pave Silver Large Bow off the side: Nordstrom (New) (similar, Steal, love this), (similar, Great Deal), (similar w/ black sequins, my Favorite).
Gold-Tone Hexagon Pave Ring in Aqua Chalcedony Stone in the middle: Olivia & Grace via Rocksbox (New) (similar all in gold-tone, Steal), (similar, oval-shaped, Great Deal, love this), (similar gorgeous option in green agate stone, Small Splurge, my Favorite).
Soft Moisturinzing, Sculpting Lipstick: Pure Color Envy by Estee Lauder in "Defiant Coral" (identical, Small Splurge but I absolutely love it!), (similar, Steal, love this), (similar, Great Deal).
Black Textured Chevron Fishnet Tights: Vera Wang via Kohl's (very similar, Steal), (similar), (sexy option, my Favorite).
By the way, you can get your own first month of Rocksbox free using my code: ADABFF39.
You all loved my Pale Pink Midi Dress last week and I loved what you all linked up - over 120 outfits altogether. My favorites are all over the place but one thing is certain I love color and I love florals. Besides lots of floral, you will see that I was attracted to black as well as some edgier looks.

This week's Featured Blogger is KATIE from Hello Katie Girl linking a Watercolor Floral Skirt paired with a Statement Sweatshirt. Katie's style is always super colorful, girly, adorable and preppy. This teacher turns heads in every room. I love the preppy way she paired her striped sweatshirt with a button-down underneath and the cutest light blue sneakers. As a matter of fact I went straight to Old Navy to purchase her sweatshirt. As usual she also posed in front of a very colorful art wall, which matched the colors of her skirt. I must say out of all the bloggers I read and follow on a weekly basis, Katie's is the closet I would love to own because it is filled with the most beautiful skirts, fun tops, unique sweaters and her gorgeous designer bag collection. She has been featured under Thursday Moda Favorites probably more than anyone else. If I could, I would feature her every week. Please check out her beautiful colorful blog, filled not only gorgeous outfits but stunning backgrounds and interesting LA locations, too.

At first I thought Chichi's Pale Pink 'Monochrome' look was a two-piece set but it is separates. Both the sweater and pleated maxi skirt are stunning.
Amber's 'Bell Sleeve Floral Dress' has the most beautiful pattern. It looks so chic with that long black vest.
'Hearts and Glitter and Love' - all these elements and more create the most darling date night look for Valentine's and Elise looks gorgeous in it.
Aline's 'Floral' jumpsuit in white with red flowers has me craving Spring. It is refreshing to see a sophisticated jumpsuit like this with thong sandals.
Kate linked several looks but both of her 'Sunday Style' posts were my favorites. She is elegance personified in this head to toe black outfit and her adorable mini is perfect.
'In the Real Galaxy' or not, Bryanna's tie-dye jeans are fun and she created a rather interesting and edgy look with them. Love the tee, blazer and bag.

This Week's Thursday Moda Co-Host: Countdown to Friday.
Lately Kristin has been seen in beautiful neutrals and pops of red (as you see in every outfit, below). Love her new layered modern bob too and I have heart emoji eyes over that crossover heather gray sweater.
From Kristin's Mouth:
"Red is my all time favorite color, so I'm glad that wearing it this February brings awareness to women's heart health. I paired my red dress with a houndstooth coat for some extra edge, and kept the rest simple."

Now join the linkup and make some new friends!

  27. It boosts the body’s natural detoxification process by providing natural ingredients through its vitamins and amino acid blend containing lysine, niacin, taurine, MSM, and D-ribose. It will also work if you’re looking for a drug test detox. However, it is a highly concentrated formula, and you must be toxin-free for at least 2 days for it to work. For use, refill the bottle with water and drink 4 times. Urinate frequently. It will take effect after 60 to 90 minutes.
