Mommy+Mini Valentine: Black+White Layers with Patterns and Bows.
I still have a few Mommy+Me Looks with my sweet Vivi: from this month, pre-Valentine day, inspired by Valentine's day, on the day of February 14th and some festive looks even after the 14th. Today I am sharing another one of them but note our weather in February has been very bi-polar. Rain (more than once), light winds, extreme winds, hail, snowing (twice), snow storms, frozen rain and even sunshine with lots of warm-ish Spring-like weather between 50 to 65 degrees, have ping-ponged us here in Michigan, this February 2017. And the month isn't even over, it is just Feb 20th. So yeah my outfits are all over the place.
For example, on the day I shot this outfit, I actually wore it IRL without a jacket or coat on, but all I had to do as far as walking outside, was my quick trips in and out of the car. It was chilly (mid 40s plus windy) but decent enough for me to simply wear a Kimono-Sleeve Sweater (in sort of an Aztec Print) over a Light Chiffon Cream Blouse. I love the Little Black Bow on it and the black piping around the neckline. I think pussy bow blouses are perfect for Valentine's day. And just because this outfit doesn't have red or pink, it doesn't mean it isn't a cute casual look for Valentine's day. I did accessorize my Black+White Look with Berry Lipstick and a Plum Mini Cross-body Bag and I added Gold-Tone Jewelry from Rocksbox (I love the necklace and bracelet, especially).
My Sweet Vivi is also rocking lots of black. Though you cannot see it, her Black Tutu Skirt is part of a dress which is cream on top with leopard accents. She actually paired it herself with the Matching Leopard Cardigan but my sweet girl who loves pink, of course had to wear some pink. She is rocking the Pink+White Argyle Tights for some pattern-mixing with the Leopard Cardigan and look at that fun Rainbow Hair Piece clipped on her hair. =)

Below is a similar throw-back look from almost exactly a year ago of my sweetie and I. Instead of a kimono cardigan, I am wearing a similar poncho, also paired with a blouse underneath, skinny jeans and booties. Both Vivian and I are in neutrals again and we both have some leopard on.
Stay tuned for a very special week and linkup on Thursday Moda, this week. My linkup turns one so I am doing not one but two posts to celebrate it (and involving a few other bloggers, too). The first one will go live Wed morning at 6.00 AM EST and that is also when I am opening up the linkup for you to link your latest posts, this week. The second one will go live Thursday morning, as usually. =) Thank you for reading along and supporting both my blog and my linkup! I appreciate it very much.
Have a great week!
