Mommy and Daughter in Pastels and lots of Sun.
Happy Hump Day You All!
Truth is I don't own a lot of Graphic Tees (what kind of blogger am I? LOL). And most of the ones I own have some type of art graphic not words on them. I was so happy to purchase this lovely graphic tee a couple of weeks ago at JC Penney. The message itself "I Need Retail Therapy" is exactly me in a nutshell. Plus the T-Shirt is in Rose Quartz (Blush) on of the biggest colors of the year, I couldn't resist. And the material is the softest cotton. It is from JC Penney from their Belle+Sky line which I recently discovered. They have very cute and on trend, fashionable and well-made clothes. The T-Shirt was a little pricey at about 36 bucks but with a 40% sale and a little 15% coupon on top, I had to get it. I paired it with my new Striped Skirt. This Midi Pencil Beauty is by Vince Camuto. I purchased mine a couple of months ago at Nordstrom and cannot find it online but Vince Camuto has a very similar skirt currently which I also love. I love the different directions of the stripes on mine. It makes it so unique and shows off my curves, more.
This Outfit was worn last Saturday and it was pretty much Summer here. It was warm, sunny and beautiful, we spent a good part of the day outside just enjoying the weather. Vivian is wearing a new Fit+Flare Dress from Old Navy. I layered it with a light Jersey Turtleneck and she is wearing some thin Nylon Tights too because due to her delicate immune system I didn't want to undress her completely, right away. She was comfortable all day I must say. I love the big girl look of her longer fit+flare dress. Plus she looks adorable in Mint as this post also shows and once again I paired Mint with Pink for her. I made her flower crown using rosettes in neon coral, bright pink, mint and teal which I hand-sew to a thin elastic band. She absolutely loved it. However my favorite picture of Vivian in this outfit is probably this one I shared on Instagram. I loved that photo so much I didn't even realize I shared it twice but used a filter for one of them for some special effect. I love how Vivian is showing her pretty flower crown in that picture. We are both wearing Spring Pastels (her in Mint and I in Rose Quartz). I decided to take out a pair of Sandals too and wore these Gorgeous Laser-Cut Gold Leather Wedges by Kenneth Cole. I paired them with more Leather: a Matching Gold Bow Headband and a Cuff Bracelet in mixed leathers which is actually a ponytail holder. Lastly, I went for my Cute Burlap Clutch that day. What do you think of our Spring Pastel Looks? Have you bought any Cute Graphic Tees lately? Where do you shop for yours?
