LND: Little Navy (Ponte) Dress.

Good morning and Happy first Monday of April! I had to dig through archives with this outfit but most of you haven't seen it and it's a cute little outfit that needs to be shared. As you can tell, these photos were taken at work, in my office at the time, so I apologize.

This Little Navy Dress was the first of its kind in my closet. It is very structured, modern and classic at the same time. Sexy and simple. I love the sleeves and the exposed zipper on the back. I also love the ponte material which washes easily and doesn't wrinkle much. As a matter of fact, I got one in a dark red too. However the red one I had to get a bigger size because sizes S were sold out. Since then I have gifted the red one to my sister-in-law who has worn it a lot. I opted to style it to work in a monochromatic look, so I paired it with black heeled suede booties and semi-opaque black tights. However the tights have an oversized but subtle diamond pattern in sparkly silver, which you can only see in some of the close-up photos. I added a fun bow belt in cognac and to bring out the silver from the tights, all my jewelry is silver. I just love the grape pendant. That day I also carried a black bag similar to this. I wore this outfit to work but clearly the way I styled this little navy dress was perfect for me to head to cocktails+dinner afterwards. What do you think?
