Thursday Moda #3 and St. Patrick's Green.

Happy St. Patrick's Day Thursday Everyone!

It is after midnight (which means it is technically Thursday) and I am now just writing this post, after a long and tiresome day at work. I have my sweet angel Vivi sleeping in the bed next to me as I am typing away while listening to some Albanian music. Thank you to all of you who linked up last week for week #2 of Thursday Moda and made my second week a huge success with over 80 entries. I have tried to spread the word as much as possible about the link-up and if all of you my dear readers and followers do the same, I appreciate it a lot and thank you from the bottom of my heart. And kindly, please if you link up with me, follow me via Bloglovin - it is the right thing to do. Also, please link back to this post.

Of course, since it is St. Patrick's day and Green is one of my most favorite colors, especially the bright and fresh shade of St. Patty's or Kelly Green, I couldn't resist wearing some green today. My most green piece here is this new T-Shirt from Wal Mart (of all places) which I paired with this Graphic-Print Midi Skirt that has Navy, Torqouise, Black and Green in its pattern - it is a gorgeous piece from Express from about 6-7 years ago, which shows you that midi lengths are now back in style and it also tells you that I have loved and worn this style of skirt for years (actually my first Midi Skirt dates back since when I was 18 and that is almost half of my life ago). All my pretty recent silver pieces from Rocksbox paired nicely with this Outfit and that Gorgeous Crystal Necklace was perfect for the scoop neckline. I added a couple more fun stones via my Onyx+Silver Ring and a Braided Bracelet and I am also carrying a Cute Hunter Green Mini Clutch/Wallet. My natural waves came courtesy of keeping my hair in a bun the previous day (wet as it was right after washing it). And yes I am wearing sandals with tights which I think works if your sandals are in a  dark color and have a slightly wider heel and my chunky black sandals with black tights look seamless. I wore this outfit to work on Tuesday this week, but I did carry my laptop bag with me too. How are you wearing your green today?

I am pretty low-maintenance when it comes to makeup. Usually a little lipstick, a little mascara or a little blush is all I need or wear, even to work. Sometimes I will do an eyeliner (like I did here) or some eye-shadow. And yes, my eyeliner is a shimmery hunter green kohl pencil. It paired well with the shimmery plum lipstick. And I must say I love this volume mascara. Essence is an European brand, this mascara costs about 8 bucks and it is some of the 8 bucks I have ever spent! Same goes for the Avon Glow Bronzing Pearls - I like them better than a typical blush and every time I run out, I buy a new box. At $ 9.00 bucks they are a steal! And now they are on sale here for 7 bucks!

So many beautiful outfits last week, so many pretty dresses and pretty florals, how does one choose a favorite or two. I will do things a little differently. I will choose my Most Favorite Look of the week and make that the "Featured Blogger" of the week and I will also include three other favorites I absolutely loved.

This week's featured Blogger is Joules from Lifestyle by Joules. This Color-blocked Navy+White Sheath Dress she recently styled for a wedding was a perfect ten, head to toe. Pairing it with classic nude pumps, classic pearls and a faux alligator nude clutch (similar to mine today, except in beige/nude) was an excellent choice. And she found this gorgeous dress at a second-hand store. Joules' style is elegant, feminine and sophisticated - a lot of skirts and dresses. But her life+style blog besides great fashions, includes recipes, traveling and even literature so make sure to check it out. She also runs a linkup on Fridays, called "Weekly Favorites".

Laura is "Emulating Spring" in this long-sleeve floral maxi which is gorgeous.
Kathrine's "Rainbow Sweater" was Spring love at first sight for me.
Rachel Nicole's "Belted Dress" looks adorable over her baby bump and what a great berry color.

P.S. Linking up with Adri + Jessica, Alice, Ana Luiza with Michelle, Brooke with Erica, Carrie with Jill, Christie, Claire, Dawn, Grace, Elle with Jacqueline, Jalynn,
Also linking up with the ladies of The Blended Blog.

And now join the linkup!
