Green for St. Patrick's with The Limited.

I went shopping earlier today because I really wanted this dress from The Limited, after seeing it on the Lovely Alice and I noticed a huge trend at the store: bright vivid shades of green or like we usually call it Kelly Green. I like to call it Spring Green because it reminds me of the grass starting to get green, flowers blooming and trees starting to get green leaves again. Next door to The Limited over at Talbots, more pretty and bright shades of green, some lighter greens like lime, kiwi and citrusy shades. Needless to say it was all beautiful and not only are these greens perfect for the start of Spring but also awesome with the upcoming St. Patrick's day next week.

So in honor of St. Patrick's day coming up I decided to show you a week worth of Work Outfits featuring these 5 work-ready, elegant and chic green pieces.

Check out the outfits below and tell me which one is your favorite?

Bright and Feminine

Cutting-Edge and Elegant

Modern and Equestrian

Sexy and Springy

Nautical in Green and Navy

These outfits are great to forward into Spring. Don't forget to Spring forward tomorrow and turn your clocks one hour ahead. I think my favorite looks above are "Modern and Equestrian" and "Nautical". I would wear them head to toe. Actually next week you will see similar green pants styled here for the first time. Stay tuned for that and more outfits featuring Green. =)

Speaking of The Limited, all of their non-clearance dresses are currently $49.50, almost everything on the store is 40% (some of it is 60% off) and all the clearance is an additional 40% off. Needles to say, I stocked up on a few things. I hadn't shopped there in a while. The Limited has always been one of my most favorite stores. And no, this post is not sponsored by them, I wish. =D

  1. I like how you've created outfits around each of the pieces! I think my favorites are the modern look and the nautical look. Weirdly, I have TONS of green Michigan State stuff but not a lot of green other clothing. I end up wearing the same shirt every year for St. Patrick's Day. Haha.

    1. Hahaa, we both like the same two outfits the best. I know your love about Michigan State tees. Weirdly enough I only have one Michigan (navy w/ yellow writing tee). What tee do you wear every year for St. Patrick's?

  6. I like that green dress! :)

I used to avoid green and didn't have a lot of it in my wardrobe, but getting a few green maternity pieces has made me see what a great colour it is so I'm much more open to green things now! :)

  12. I went to a St. Patrick's day parade this weekend which was fun and I did actually wear green but it wasn't like a bold green which I felt like I needed. These picks are fab!
